3,215 boxes is basically nothing – but also you'd never see a 50-card base set come with a 24-pack box. But I do get the point. I knew it was inevitable that I'd regret not buying more no matter how many I bought.

The wording here is really strange. It doesn't specifically say the Black Plate is omitted from the back of the card, though it could be strictly interpretted that way. It might just mean that the black plate omission is only omitted from cards "Non-Base" parallels. Almost like a parallel printing to a parallel printing.

So if you wanted a Full Rainbow, you will need to get Base Card plus 8 parallels, plus 8 parallels with black plate omission. 17 CARDS In All! Only problem with my theory is that there would have to be 2 1/1s; regular Ty Cobb back and the black plate omission Ty Cobb back.

Or the base Series 2 back will be printed with black and blue (or a different color combination), and some of them will have the black omitted.

Well that makes their 10 remaining packs basically free. With the way eBay is not sure if I would even want to sell them since I don't have them yet.

This is why I’ll never be rich in this hobby. I have 100 of these. Looks like I can easily doubly my money and by the time they come out many triple and I think “ nah, I’m ripping it”

If I could sell mine at profit, I'd do it (my interest in these kind of died)... except for the fact I'm currently getting destroyed by P2020 returns so now I'm gun shy about preselling on eBay. Might just risk it and turn returns off.

Returns off or on doesn’t matter.

I think it’s safe to assume you are going to be able to sell these at more then 14.99 a piece(or whatever the bundle came to)

I love all the nonsensical speculation people are running with.

If this is like EVERY other on-demand product, we'll be lucky to have 5 autograph subjects. Not 20+. Most cards will not have auto parallels. Autographs will be few and far between.

Why would anyone assume there are boxes of this product available either? Every other on demand product is shipped as packs. If you bought 20 packs, you'll get 20 packs. No such thing as a sealed box in a "wave" product yet.

Print run is super high for an on demand product too. Doesn't bother me one bit, love to see these getting attention. I bought a bunch and I'm looking forward to making sets. Won't be selling a single card.

Yeah I agree it usually doesn't matter. I guess it's also not likely these things crater in within 2 weeks of delivery so probably safe-ish.

Yes I’d be surprised if like David Dahl and one.

yea, but also has series 2 listed, and both say 10 boxes, but he is selling 5 boxes. Not sending til, end of July.
I have a feeling, you would receive 5 boxes of series 2.

I also collect coins. I used to buy coins from the US Mint every month (I stopped because of too many products and the prices got ridiculous).

People would not purchase directly from the US Mint because they didn't want the "government" access to some of their "personal information (I know)."

I would ask people all of he time "Why don't you buy it directly from the US Mint," and the aforementioned was a frequent reply.

For some reason, buyers feel it is safer to buy on Ebay than from the source.

I'm really hoping theres more Blue Jays in sets 3-5. So far only 1 per set and they're both current players. I'd love to see Alomar, Carter or Delgado. It would also be amazing if there was a Guerrero or Bichette auto.

Same with the Cubs... just 1 in each series.... Jon Lester and Kyle Schwarber. No Baez, Bryant, Rizzo etc. guessing they are included in the next 3 series.

I hope they make each series different so when they are live you know if you are buying Wave 1, 2 etc on eBay. so far the pics look exactly the same.
