No, nothing. I ordered a Presitge mega a little while after and that went through. Nowhere near my credit limit so I am not sure what's up. Pretty frustrating, as I am sure a lot of us are.

you need to have either got a “thank you for your order” confirmation screen, an email confirmation or see it in your order history for it to have gone through.

Seems like most everyone that missed out (including me) missed after getting it in their cart. I was able to get to "place order" for both select products. Giving users 60 seconds to check without losing their carted items shouldn't aid bots at all since they already check out at breakneck speed.

I got a "thank you for your order", 100% sure. But nothing when I checked my orders later. I wish I would have taken a print screen, but have never had this issue in months of doing this. Oh well, maybe next time.

correct because anyone can get it in their cart. more people get it in cart than there are boxes available. if you want to be guaranteed a window to buy after it’s in cart then waaay less people will actually get it into their cart.

I can appreciate that you feel like you’ve come up with an ingenious solution that no one has thought of but you haven’t lol.

the problem is not that you got in cart but couldn’t checkout, the problem is that target is letting bot users get up to 5 additional unique cards for every one red card by adding authorized users that can all check out a limit, and then they are letting bots hammer the backend before it even goes live to the public.

Some people are getting 4-5 red cards by getting credit and debit, getting a family member to get them as well, then maxing out authorized users. for a good bot user 4 red cards was equal to about 100 boxes today.

I did, and without an order number I'm SOL basically. I told them about the brag tweets of guys getting 50+ boxes and she said there is nothing she could do but I should tweet those things to Target for visibility. She was super nice and I am sure if 100s or 1000s of people did this it could make a difference, but...

Yeah I had the links today ahead of time from this thread but how do you know which product will be loaded first? Or did you just concentrate on the select b ball megas and blasters?

My friend is in a group where, he gets the links once they’re live and then he just clicks on them and it takes him to his app where he can check out.

Having the links ahead of time isn’t as easy because of you click on it and it’s out of stock, there’s no refresh.

The only way I can see it work is if you just settle on one sku and continually go in and out of the app, clicking on the link from this thread

As i posted earlier i think they listed select in error today possibly tomorrow bc the app says coming soon

Yeah it's tough because the owner was always fair with Hobby wax prices at usually 10-20% below "big boy" online prices even through the start of the major hobby hype. Eventually though they started jacking the hobby wax up to online prices, basically stopped with putting any new singles out and then the retail nonsense was the final straw for me. I assume they started going through all their singles due for sale and sent off a ton for grading where they probably still sit at PSA today lol. Sad for consumers but I guess the $$$ too hard to resist for some people during a boom period.

I had no issue getting in cart, I just got the dumb red card # + PIN confirmation both times which I don't get because never had this problem for previous drops...

Sounds like the app works for many people if they favorite the product and the switch between the favorite list and desired product. I will probably try that the next time as fingerprint authenticated checkout is pretty fast.

I focused on the Select. Blaster, back button, Mega, back button. The links were about 5 posts away from each other a few pages back. I figured that the other ones would not have much loaded into inventory and Select would, so I focused on those two. Vlick which opened in Target app and back, click and back for 20 minutes and finally it showed red on the blasters. So I know I was there within 3-5 seconds of it going live. I had no issues at all this week.
I have had issues in the past though even with this tactic, so I know that they loaded more and my checkout went completely smooth this time.
