Is Topps not releasing cards this week, since collectors are on lavish beach vacations from their spring Project 2020 earnings? Or did Thiele do a Cocaine Nights montage for his Gooden card, and now Topps censors are scrambling for a second card to release?

I really like Rochester's George Brett card, but I don't want to get too attached to it in case Topps takes it away from me.

Does does each player only get 1 foil or each artist can only do 1 foil?

For instance- can Jeter's Rochester, Shore and Don C all be foil?

1 per artist confirmed, 1 per player just speculation until we get a duplicate.

Interesting. I am curious if artist will choose to pump their Trouts/Jeters or maybe someone else who would sell low otherwise....

i bought my first and only project 2020 card the other day, which was the oldmanalan ichiro. it's a beautiful card and i couldn't care less if it doesn't look like the original, which i already own. to be honest i would mentally critique the cards that didn't look like the originals, but i'd rather have this ichiro as a one-off than any of josh vides' extremely boring cards

Ok, now that I can see them and won't buy either I can move on with my day. Rochester Brett is real nice, but not enough to pull me in at MSRP for a player/artist I dont collect.

Thiele style still is not my bag, but I give him credit for shoving Doc inside the Worlds Fair Globe Orb thing.

Haha worth the wait? Got a Brett AP. I think that the wait built up anticipation. That Gooden is weird though. Kind of gave me a Halloweeny impression, to be honest.
