You seem to have a better idea of where these posts were located than the rest of us. If you wouldn't mind doing the digging, I'd love to see the posts where "All of Blowout" was saying the Nuggs couldn't win regular season games so that I can get a laugh too.

If there is some other thread where Denver was being trolled, I guess I missed it and I frequent the Basketball forum every day. From this thread, here's my response and TJ's, and in fact, grizzkid's response to TJ:

But I'll go on record to say that their NBA title hopes are toast without him.

I honestly didn't really think they would come out of the West with Murray and don't feel any different now. However I definitely could see them winning 1 or 2 rounds with or without him.

He's obviously very good but him being out will give more opportunities and usage to Joker, MPJ, Barton & Aaron Gordon who are all more than capable.

MPJ, Barton & Gordon also are all about that Dr. Jekly/Mr. Hyde basketball Murray tends to play, so all they need is for one of them to come out hot each game and they will get the production they are losing without Murray IMO
also, it's cool to not have any losses yet but again, it's a couple regular season games that most of us aren't watching. Right now they're poised to match up with the Lakers in Round 1, which looks like a tough matchup without Murray

I honestly thought they’ll miss Jamal and drop a spot or two in the standings but Portland has just been awful lately. Good thing is that Vogel kept the Lakers afloat without LBJ and AD.

There’s still plenty of games left however. Now’s not the right time to guarantee playoff seeding as we enter the most crucial part of the year.

Yeah Vogel has been doing an incredible job of putting thr ball in the hole and then getting back on defense.

I thought he was hopeless. Followed his career as a Laker and then some in NOLA. Huge decision for the Knicks next summer but I really don’t think they have any choice. Randle is more than likely to decline an extension.

Yep, the era of the 2-pt jumper is over, it's only going to happen as anomalies now.

Not going to quote specific people, but page 220 & 221 of this thread.

If you covered the players name and just kept the poster’s reactions, you would have thought it was Lebron or Giannis who went down. Multiple quotes including someone who “wants to cry” or that they’re “toast”, “they will likely move down in the standings, now maybe Embiid can win the MVP” etc.

Some people backtracked, clarified their statements or said vague things like “it takes a lot for it to be your year” which can definitely be understood to mean playoff success, but again if you just read a page or two you would have thought an MVP caliber player went down, not the 10th or so best point guard in the league (and this is coming from someone who liked Murray and thought he was underrated pre-bubble).

They lose that series with or without Murray if Lebron & AD are healthy and good to go. If one of those two are down, they probably take the series, again with or without Murray.

I don’t really see him making that much of a difference tbh. Maybe they lose in 6 vs 5 if he’s in against them both, that’s about it.

I like Dort, has a lot of upside along with Shai and Darius.

Mr 3D looked great tonight and with this win have officially won more games than the Wizards won last year in 15 less games.

Westbrook went from looking washed to racking up his 28th triple double of the year in only 52 games. That's 5th most all time in a season, with 2 of the higher marks coming from him.

This year alone would place him 17th in CAREER triple doubles, tied with some guy named Michael Jordan.

Rooting for the Nuggs here to keep NO's non-existent playoff hopes alive.

Every time I watch the Nuggets I cringe because it looks so hard for them to score sometimes - especially when Jokic is on the bench. Losing Murray makes an already struggling offense even weaker.

Also on that slo-mo review of the Curry shot where he was fouled - how is that not a travel? He took two completely separate hops. What they allow these days makes me nauseous.

Nuggets gonna have some serious problems down the stretch; they're out of guards. With Barton out a while now, they have just four and two of them weren't on the team a week ago.

May have no choice but to play Markus Howard for stretches; get ready to fade them heavily starting w/ Houston tomorrow.

The good news - The Wiz are 17/10 vs the West
The bad news - 9/23 vs the East

What illness does Simmons have going out that he is going to miss a 4th straight game today? Supposedly it is not Covid related.

Either way a big game for 1/2/3 seeding today. Bucks beating the Sixers would have them one game back in the loss column. Even with a Bucks loss today they would still hold the tiebreaker should they end up with same record.

Sixers have a pretty cupcake remaining schedule on paper, so a Bucks loss today and they may not surpass the Sixers.
