As you mentioned, hangers are definitely in buy territory.

Cello packs are getting very close to 2x already. Picked up several lots on Ebay for $22-$23 for each. I don't see this release being similar to Chronicles and getting to the 1.2-1.5x range for anything, because its all Chrome, lots of desirable color, and the Silvers look great.

The Blue Cracked Ice Megas to me are what I've been going after the most, because from the checklists, it seems like the Cracked Ice Megas were produced the least amount of, coupled with the fact that the Blue matches Zion/Ja's jersey closer than the Red, I think those will be the winner going forward, especially since the Hobby Hybrid format was very undesirable. The Megas are basically Hobby boxes for this release at this point, and they have the price of the Hobby Hybrid to look up to, imo.

I have been debating buying some hangers, but to me, I just don't see the appeal of the Purple Discos moving forward. Can someone convince me otherwise? Any other selling points that make the Hangers attractive at this price point?

when 64 CT mega came out , there are some sales between 105 - 125

The only real benefit I can see as a seller is that it’s the most hassle-free platform. Once StockX confirms authenticity, you’re free and clear. No returns, no communication with the buyer, no negative feedback, etc. I guess that’s really the premium you’re paying for with them.

I'm with you. The blue cracked ice megas are gonna be big sellers moving forward due to the color match. If Herro/coby keep improving the red ice will increase in price as well, but that's gonna take some time so those will be longer holds for the same ceiling.

I think the hangers have some decent value, but their issue more than color is not having guaranteed rookie purple discos in each hanger. If they had 1 rookie purple disco guaranteed per pack compared to some having 3 or 4 rookies and many others having none, I think it'd do better at maintaining a higher price. The average person would know that they always have a chance at Zion or Ja. The risk averse collector likely won't wan to gamble on the hangers when there is no guarantee to hit at least 1 purple disco parallel per box.

Those days are long gone. Those also had a lower SRP and less cards (and the less desirable green ice), so if any of the megas dip lower, that would probably be the one that dips.

that’s the same as offerup though. you do a person to person exchange and there are no refunds at that point. I’m sure some people prefer to not have to meet up, but for most flippers that’s not worth 15%.

I didn't think of the Red Ice Megas like that. That's a good point. Also throw other guys like Reddish, Hunter, Garland, KPJ in there for team matching candidates for future value if any of them take the next level.

I think I'm going to pass on buying the Hangers. I don't see what everyone else is seeing with them. I think Cellos and Blue Megas are best value moving forward. 5 Cellos for $100-$110, and you get 5 silvers along with a bunch of chances for a decent rookie with the Laser packs. Don't see the price staying this low on Cellos for people who want to rip in bulk.

Offerup do you exchange money in person? One of the many reasons i like StockX is the security of selling something for hundreds of dollars without looking over your shoulder

it has a component where you can ship, but primarily it’s a local thing where you agree on a meeting place and make an exchange. cash, venmo, whatever payment terms you agree to.

Are we allowed to trade boxes on here? Have 2 red ice megas on the way and would love to trade one for a blue so I can have one of each, if anyone is interested shoot me a PM. I’ll cover shipping for the both of us

Yes I still remember people saying this about Mosaic. I tend to think the demand is matched supply. Everyone and their mother have been trying to get cards.

I’ve got 15 Walmart Megas and no way I would sell under 200. These Megas are way better rip than mosaic Megas in my opinion.

Maybe we should start considering create a bot group, there's no way we going to find anything on the wild and given the current situation a bot is the only way to get product
