I made this comment premarket on 4/11 and bought myself at 85.66. Bottomed at 85.00 that morning. This was a very low risk, moderate reward short term play to take advantage of the misfortune of others.

saw Pfizer was still interested in obesity. I picked up VKTX/GPCR as I think they could be interested in them. PFE's obesity drug danu-whatever flopped. not too sure on MTSR. potentially SRRK if their obesity drug is any good. who knows

WW - tracking for getting for getting zepbound is... lol future zero for sure. mostly stock pumpers pumping this garbage PR. they're like Krispy Kreme KK - high debt laden garbage.

I added DMYY and SLRN. SLRN hopefully the deal with alumis will fail and they'll be sold to Concentra.

I own Pfizer which has been in a slump for awhile so I might look into the stocks you list. Not sure I will bite though.

WW is an interesting company. We had Weight Watchers at work over a decade ago (right before Oprah stepped in) and I really liked the program and did well with it. I even considered buying some of the stock at the time because I am a sucker for buying stocks in brands I like, but I never got around to it. It then took off with Oprah. I hadn’t looked at the stock in awhile so surprised to see it is now a penny stock. It did strike me as odd (and crazy) when they decided to endorse weigh loss drugs last year. It seemed to throw their whole point counting philosophy out the window.

Another stock on my radar now is FSLR which is trading at 52 week lows. I likely won’t buy today but might get in if/when it dips below $100.

April 2025 should prove to you that short and intermediate term movements in the market are driven solely by narrative controlled by the world’s biggest funds.

What’s great (and why the downturn was so brief) is that retail didn’t fall for the trap. April 3 was the highest single day retail inflow into stocks and ETFs in at least a decade. Retail net buying for S&P 500 stocks in April was the highest month in over a year, and almost every day in April was a net buy.

I always appreciate when you drop tickers in this thread. I did really well with DRUG when you mentioned it late last year. I threw a grand at it and made $10k in a week!

Not expecting that magic to repeat but still try to throw a grand at your picks from time to time shortly after you post them.

I bought 20 shares of both VKTX (@28.95) and GPCR (@26.95) this morning.

it seems like the only stocks going up a ton are "we're going to buy FAKE coins!" just plain dumb - KIDZ, CEP, JNVR

I was interested in MDGL. I don't know too much about MASH. do u guys know about this one? should be on pace for 500 mil in sales this year on the low end.
