They should put an asterisk on that game for you so everyone can see that in the history books.

I won’t start a thread since everyone will call me an OSU homer (I am) but this is a fantastic read

A few games to watch tonight...

AD likely back in what could be Dallas last good chance in their quest to catch the Lakers in the playoff chase. A win puts the Mavs within 2.5 games with another head to head matchup on Saturday... a loss essentially puts them 5 games behind because of the tie breaker.

The Bucks vs 76ers could be a classic, or it could be a dud.. considering that Giannis, Simmons, and Tobias Harris are all game time decisions here 90 mins before tip off.

Would love to see these teams to at it full strength. Much like the Mavs, the Bucks have back to backs vs Philly that they need to win to have a shot at the 1 seed.

Could there be a more predictable superstar narrative in the league?

Every year Dame goes on his insane stretch, then falls off a cliff. The only question is when it happens. Hoping he gets it together in time for the playoffs.

Embiid hurt his shoulder trying to win an award he has no chance of winning.

This should be the end of the road as far as playing every game is concerned. Philly keeps losing, that's that.

IDK... this game is about more than winning an award.. it's about trying to lock up the #1 seed and avoid Milwaukee/Nets matchup in round 2.

Either way.. what's ironic is that it's becoming very clear that on this Philly team Embiid needs Simmons and Simmons needs Embiid.

Last time these two played the Bucks were held to 109 points in an overtime game where Simmons played and Embiid didn't. Tonight, the Bucks have dropped 108 points in 3 quarters with Embiid and no Simmons.

It certainly does seem Simmons is just as valuable from the team perspective. That said, the last two games the Sixers lost was because the offense didn't have enough; tonight the defense was terribly flawed.

Philly not a threat without them both, that's for certain.

The opening 3 minute stretch for DAL is just awful. I mean really awful.

Totally agree.

Didn’t the pelicans sweep the blazers a year ago in the first round? That’s the type of stuff that just baffles my mind. How can a guy drop 50 a game for two weeks and the next two weeks shoot 25%. I guess that’s how percentages work? Still confuses me but have to accept it

I'm old enough to remember when Knicks fans hit the roof when they spent their money on Randle. Glad he put in the work

Jokic has 2 games with 20 FG's made this season... KD has 0 in his career. Curry & Harden have 1 each, Lebron has 2... weird/interesting stat on how he continues to dominate despite not getting many FT attempts

I know it doesn't pertain to this, but you prompted me to look up this stat. MJ had 28 in his career.... Insane lol. It may be more, but the list I found only shows the top 100.

Taking victory laps after them not losing a game without him yet

Re-read the thread where there was mass panic and multiple people were talking about their seeding and how they were going to drop without him. That is what I am referring to, not championship aspirations.
