How many is he behind on now? His Ryan was the last one released. I've wondered if there was a reason he started so much later than everyone else. Went back and his Thomas was #73

Someone else might remember the story better, but I believe he was outside the country for a while at the beginning of the project.

That sounds very familiar. I think you're right.

I just bought the Jeter Saladeen card as well and will figure out how to display them together...

This is what I read as well. Apparently it was an issue with Covid as well, but that may just me reading into it. He is really only 6 from completion. 1 per week and we are right there.

I know a lot of people didn't like the Gold Thomas and the Iron Ripken, but I thought it would have been great to stick with that theme. He has not, and I am still a collector of his releases, but not with the interest I originally had.

I think Don C has 6 left so given his turnaround time he will probably be the bridge to P2021

Received the "new" Chang Trout Companion Cards that she just sent out to replace the first batch... I received two regular versions and one foil version. The foil version looks awesome and is limited to 300 (it's available if anyone's interested).

Regular version (left) & foil version (right)

Maybe Don C will step down and they'll have a replacement artist do his last 6 cards.

Clemente: use Thiele's original version
Koufax: give Siff another try
Henderson: give Rochester another try
Gooden: Siff's 'White Gooden'?
Jeter: give Thiele another try
Ichiro: use Saladeen's preview with Ichiro having Money Bear's eyes (and normal borders!)

Yeah, I was really looking forward to how he'd do an element for each card. He still has some cool cards in his set though.
