That "article" is based on the speculation of a reddit user. It's not much of an article at all and ultimately, as you have pointed out here as well, Yordan is a family man. It's highly unlikely this is the case.

I'd say Alvarez has slowed down quite a bit more than the other two, but he's also been dealing with a hand injury.

Hey guys, just got this back from PSA. A lil disappointed it didn't get a 10 as it went right from the pack to PSA but hey, that sorta stuff happens. Any idea on what this might be worth?

I don’t have an opinion of value, but a 9 for a Clear is nothing to sneeze at. The sensitive surfaces make them very difficult to gem.

You would think...and you'd be wrong.

The Yordan Fri/Sat thing is most likely just variance. Even over his whole career he can't have more than 250 PA on either day.

I started that talk and quickly put that article to rest after learning about his personal life. He carries himself off the field just like he does on it. I'm not sure what is there to not like about the young man. Well, except the whole DH thing but I'm good with it.

I don't know anything about Yordan's personal life (and I'm fine keeping it that way), so I hope nobody took it as me insinuating he was a partier.

My point is that most people forget these are still humans...mostly in their 20s....and they will behave as such. It's not correct to judge them against the ideals that we've developed as we've gotten older. Take a random sample of twentysomethings...that's how they'll behave. That includes some of them showing up hungover, drunk, stoned, hopped up on acid, or whatever when they punch in for work.

You would hope he goes on a HR tear while it's on auction. I know both were listed anywhere from $10k-$25k on eBay. I believe he's a long game player. I'll be conservative due to the market and go with a shade under $40k. I do see it being a 6-figure card in 5 years though.

Six figures? Do you realize the ONLY TC Super auto to ever sell for 6 figures is the Tatis TCU RD? Even the Ohtani Sapphire only did $63k, and that was last October. $40k would be the fifth highest RC Super auto ever.
