I love that the insert autos are on chrome and not paper stock this year too...IMO gives the cards a much nicer visual appeal and will probably lead to higher values versus old insert autos which were largely worthless.

Can you post a breakdown of the auto from your cases?

Nice break brother. Still waiting for other breaks to pop up, photo wise. But that is really strong color for 2 cases. How many more do you have to rip tonight?

The rest will be for customers.

I only break 2 cases for set builders and store inventory. Rest of my boxes will be sold in my store.

This might be my favorite Bowman Chrome look since 2006. These babies pop.

2010-2015 was absolutely horrendous.

It was about even. Although I think the hobby case had a better ratio of color/refractor autos. I had 3 Jumbo boxes that were just 3 base autos.

The 50 caser not going off is understandable. It is a lot of work and it didn't reach the amount needed.

My problem is it was almost set up to fail and was shoved to the side so quickly. Having the 10 caser set up before hand took money away from the 50 caser and the push to pay 4x as much did more harm than good. Any sort of previous marker doesn't encourage people to bid, it encourages people only to bid "a set limit".

The 3-4 day heads-up also didn't help considering it was something that it was an uncertainty just a few days prior.

This was always pretty much a loss leader though and if Houdini/BO don't think it brings in more business, it is understandable to do away with the huge breaks. 10 casers will always fill better bc the amount of people that are able to bid on them is higher.

I just don't think its prudent to blame Bowman for this. The only crappy thing that Bowman has done is make the chrome spots lower thanks to all the players that have had chrome cards in 1-4 previous releases.

I opened 3 boxes thus far.

Best hits are Espinoza Base Auto, Moncada Blue Auto, and a Lucky Autograph.

Couple thoughts:

The Turn Two cards are great. Tad thicker than the rest of the chromes. Both sides are refractors. Really nice looking cards.

Bowman Scout's 100: Easily the best to date on this set. Nice design and the base are refractors.

agree, both sides of turn two are chrome, very nice & sturdy
on top 100, they are sweet, although I may still like last year's design with the top # number more prominently displayed (base were refractors for the base last year too)
