Broncos ready have enough defense

I'd rather see those money go into offense, Bo nix need more weapon. They only scored 7 points on the WC vs Bills

That was because they had ZERO run game, and abandoned it. Move up and take Jeanty. Simple. They just grabbed Engram at TE, now let's fill the RB hole

Shouldn't you be happy when you put the ball on nix hands though? Run games is iffy, sometimes team uses it too many sometimes they totally abandoned it. There's games where Bills also abandoned the run game because it didnt work, yet Allen still made it happen (just see the game vs lions and rams). And if your answer for RB is relying on rookie then it's not reallly a safe bet. Von is washed, just use the money to grab Najee or something

I am happy, I trust him, but it makes it easy to defend when you know there is no running game. You need to have balance, and that opens up play action.
The QB can't be the team's leading rusher

Jets released CJ Moseley? Did his play fall off or something?

He's 33 before season starts and has had more and more injuries.
LB (maybe RB) has to be the roughest position on the body.

Just like Von or Greenlaw or Wagner, Mosley was a great player, but the juice isn't really worth the squeeze at this point.

Even if those guys will play for vet minimum or low salary, you can only roster so many "situational players."
Given that he had a neck injury and the NYJ cut him and not traded, I'd guess CJ Mosely will never play starter level - if at all - again (90% probability).
If his rehab was on track, I'd think he'd get a late pick in trade. That didn't happen.
Either that, or it was a courtesy cut at his request (10% chance?). We'll see soon... some team will probably kick the tires camp/preseason.

It’s a good move for both him and the Bucs. If he’s to stay a backup I’d rather it be in Tampa.
Only a matter of time until he plays and I think he will impress

Strange fact- Trask is the first QB drafted by the Bucs to ever be re signed to a second contract

Trask will be the backup to QB2 Michael Pratt.

I'm sure Kyle will be great if Baker and Pratt both get hurt in pregame warmups and they can use the emergency 3rd QB rule?

Look at the money 27 year old Trask got... $2M. That's mid round rookie QB money. It's nothing compared to recently signed backup QBs like Dobbs, Mac Jones, Garappolo, etc.
Trask, in his "prime," got less than many guys on their rook deal.

Maybe it's time to give those trask slabbed cards the bonfire they deserve? Maybe donate them to UF kids laid off by the govt cuts?

Stop spouting more nonsense Trask is NOT backing up Pratt. With every post you make you lose credibility

Fun fact, Bucs are using a salary cap loophole for a rarely used situation to cut Trask 2.8 salary to only costing 1.4. Some kind of a 4 year veteran resigning loophole

How does that work? Like it counts on the books for 1.4 but he still gets paid 2.8?

First of your takes I agree with. CJ will likely retire. Neck injuries are nothing to f with at this point in his career, but you never know these guys’ financial situation or love for the game.

Nice to see Trask re-signing with the Bucs. Worthy backup to 2023 AAC Offensive Player of the Year, Michael Pratt.

Who rolls the dice on Cooper Cupp? He just hasn't been able to stay healthy since his MVP worthy season in '21.

Yep, and it's funny that he's the one that's supposed to push Richardson to be better. This meme will never get old

Jones will be the starter and be ok if the line holds up.
