I am an expert as well. I have fed live baboons at a zoo, and have prepared loose leaf drawing paper on which to doodle upon. I have also played MVC2 on several occasions, not to mention, I have seen each and every Marvel movie within the confines of actual movie theaters. Topps, you manufacture baseball cards of different ranges of quality, I suggest you continue to do so, if you enjoy staying in business.

I think we've come to the point where if he thought he'd done something wrong he would have admitted it. His apology did not provide that. You can tell he wanted to skewer the testing system but he probably couldn't for whatever reason.

Wasn't able to follow the thread during the day but what a head scratching release from Topps. Pleasantly surprised but they changed Update Sapphire autos to on-card this year (there's only 14 subjects on the auto checklist & all autos serial #'d though).

Shocked by the price as well. After pricing 2022 Topps Chrome Update "hobby" trash at $120/box, I was expecting these would be $200/box at the very minimum.

The checklist for the Sonic chrome has been released. Really interesting product. Much larger checklist than Logo but has dual and triple autos (only-no single auto subjects).

I could literally walk into my LCS and buy a random hobby box for twice as much money -- not that I'd want to, but I have several times the last couple of years.

That is the way logo was so this is probably to be expected. Which is one reason TCU Sapphire may be a better product.

The pricing is in line with the drop for TCS ( -$50 for no guaranteed auto and now -$20) and with TCUS being the secondary, also ran product.

You're not Fanatics' target audience anyway which should be a compliment. Fairly clear even at this early stage that they want customers who (1) preorder blindly (2) are easily placated with buybacks and credits when things go awry and (3) will immediately jump back into the ring after being royally screwed.

I think topps might have had em exclusively this year though, Considering the demand. Maybe I’m wrong guess we’ll find out within this next week.
