Along with KAT and Ben Simmons there is no player I'd want more than Domantis on the Hawks.

Steven Adams fans are sad. He's not the most dynamic or versatile, but he plays his role and plays it WELL

Head scratcher. He's not going to get 20ppg, but he's a large factor why OKC was in the position they were in last year. Can't measure heart and effort on paper.

Huge D Mitch fan, but tonight has been absolute crickets from him. Really need Bubble Mitchell to re-enter his body like the ghost of Antoine Tyler in the 6th Man.

Win or lose, Toronto is fun to watch

Also, Mikal Bridges may be criminally underrated

Anthony Edwards looks wayyy better than I thought he would out of the gate. Also Jarrett Culver seems to have improved quite a bit.

I've said that Culver was a heavy sleeper. I think he could be really good.

“I agree that Anthony Davis had a better season than me. [Nikola] Jokic? That’s debatable. But Rudy Gobert? No offense, but he [averaged] 15 [points] and 13 [rebounds] and I had my 23 and 12, and that’s kind of a big difference. I think my numbers were better. But people didn’t want to vote for me because our team didn’t do well.”

Ben Simmons...

After two games this year I'm not sure what to say about him...except for everything I said about him last year....

Legitimately in the debate for best defender in the NBA. Offensively, the progression is so small. His free throw form seems to keep getting a bit better. Still looks great on the break. Still finishes at the rim. There's just nothing really new to his game.

I don't need him to start raining 3's, it's just that he's 6'10" and I think he could do so much more damage if he just added a mid range jumper off the dribble.

We'll see what he does against a 2-0 Cavs team tomorrow when Embiid is probably going to get a rest.

Never understood the griping on Harden. And now the complaints on Trae.
Here's the basketball rule book. Go score more than the other team within this rule book
He's playing the game and gaining an edge based on his elite quickness/dribble skillset

Trae also has been talking crazy out there early, he was barking at Memphis all night.
He got in to it with Grayson Allen this preseason. Pretty sure that's what tonight was about.
Plus, Dillon Brooks was trying to be physical all game.
I like the edge!

It's one game. If he comes back strong next game that shows you he's mentally tough. I think he needs to drive to the basket more and less hanging around the 3 line. He's not steph curry. Yes a consistent mid range jumper would be nice...

And he's still only 20. That's another thing, he's not a point guard so he doesn't have the ball in his hands a good chunk of the time and it seems the ball is moving away from him. He's still looked at as a beta pup by his teammates. That will change over time but as far as this year I still expect a decent uptick in production.

Harden going to cook in this 4th?

We always joke and give passes to guys who had to play with “G-League guys”. Legitimately every player sans Harden has spent time or will in the G-League (or worse).

Jay’Sean Tate played in Lamelo’s NBL last season.
Broderic Thomas is undrafted and on a two-way, dude just hasn’t had the pleasure yet to play down there.

Absolutely pathetic the Blazers aren’t up 30 on Fat James and the G Squad.

He was awful tonight. He's gotta be more aggressive early. I get the whole wanting to be more of a playmaker and getting everyone else involved.. But he's gotta get more than 6 FG attempts up in the first half even if he is having an off shooting night.

At the end of the day he's a scorer and there's gong to be an off night here and there. But gotta remain consistently aggressive. Only positive I can think of is he got himself to the line a good amount which made his night look better. He needs to get to the line that much every game.

All of that said.. 70 more games to go. Spida's got this!

Agreed on all counts. He is actually best for the Jazz when he is in Alpha mode. Obviously we know what he is capable of, but tonight was not his night. He did salvage his night a bit, but too little too late. Looking for that aggressiveness to come out sooner next game!

I had high hopes for him last year.

Don't know if he'll ever take it to that level though. At least not consistently.
