I was looking at some previews for the Titans/Jags game last night. This one was on the Jags SB Nation website.

..

Final prediction
If it were any other team outside of the Titans, I would be incredibly leery of a hangover following an epic win like the one they had this past week against Brady and the Pats. Due to the animosity woven into the fabric of this rivalry, I sincerely doubt that this will be the case. This team has gone on record to say that the Titans were simply more physical than them in both losses last season, and I fully expect the defense to punch them in the mouth regardless of takes that first snap under center.

This team doesn’t forget. This team will embarrass you.

Jaguars win 35-13.

what a rough game for the niners. seemed like every guy that went down was a niner. then you got the refs and their bogus calls.

just a bad day.

I don't really care about losing money on football cards. You seem pretty obsessed with him getting injured though. Does it make you joyous?

I don't disagree with you that the rule was put in place about that play, but they are totally different hits. The one last week against your vikes and the one today were legit sacks, Matthews hit in week 1 was definitely a penalty. While Barr didnt get flagged or penalized last year, it was a different hit, as the ball was out of Rodgers hands and Barr was a step, step and a half away yet, then he hit him. These flags are now on what used to be legit sacks. You can keep calling it the Rodgers or Barr rule or whatever you want, but its changing the game dramatically. Like I said earlier, we may as well tie a flag around their waist and go for that. Maybe the solution is to further define it on hits in the pocket and hits out of the pocket?

Colts HC must not have much confidence in Lucks throwing shoulder.

It is changing the game drastically, and it sucks. But the rule exists today because Rodgers made such a big deal over the <legal> Barr hit last year and refused to let it go. Yes the hits that are being flagged now is different from the Barr play, slightly, but again, the new rule exists entire because of Rodgers

Actually, it’s not all that uncommon for a backup to do that. Jacoby has a cannon.

For the game? Can’t think of many star QBs who wouldn’t want that opportunity. Seems like a smart move coming off the shoulder injury but just strange to see.

From the real Rapoport

The #49ers fear a serious knee injury for QB Jimmy Garoppolo, I’m told. That’s what it appeared, as well, a non-contact knee injury that saw him carted off.

I don't root for injuries. Jimmy has talent. The only thing I guess you can say I'm obsessed about might be the exorbitant contract they threw at him for accomplishing basically nothing. But that's more a SF 49ers organization problem, not a Jimmy Garoppolo problem.

That's a shame about Jimmy G, as soon as they find out if it's torn or not the reality is if you're the guy who sold that NT patch auto for $6K three weeks ago on ebay, check your ebay alerts for a return....
