Why? Because they are completely different scenarios.

If you think I, a totally anonymous forum random, has the same perceived credibility of an account mirrors actual entities that someone is already a fan of...I wouldn't bother wasting my time.

So, in part, it's a credibility factor. Which is why they created thousands of mirror accounts.

The other part is wrought repetition and further validation from other accounts.

You're an Astros fan and a Trump fan, so if a new account, fan page or whatever called "Astros fans for Trump" you'd latch on. Why wouldn't you? Two areas of common ground...a lot of people would. You'd have no reason to suspect that it would be 100% created and run by a Russian entity. Maybe the Astros share some tweet from "Astros Fans for Trump" and then there's accreditation.

That's very different than a solo, nobody on a silly internet forum.

So, I'm sorry that it wasn't the "gotcha" that you wanted it to be.

The impact is not quantifiable, but that doesn't mean it didn't occur. There's a proverbial call to arms to end voter fraud from the right even though there's zero proof, zero investigations have turned up anything of consequence.

Don't demand quantifiable data from Russian meddling even though EVERY intelligence agency across the globe (other than Russia) confirms it, while not demanding that same data regarding voter fraud.

It's insane that this is a partisan issue. Both parties should want to limit foreign interference, not simply when the other side benefits.

I'm simply stating that if you're looking for tangible, quantifiable results from the reports on Russian interference (assumed by the following question "The impact of what they did was _______.") ...they don't exist as it's an impossible ask.

Not sure what exactly you're looking for when you ask that if it's not something tangible.
