Shouldn't have any issues ordering. I remember Draft Sapphire being easy. This is a great perk to being in the club.

Who here thinks they'll actually enforce the 2 per household rule? Instead of threatening to cancel the orders, I wish they'd instead say they'll revoke the membership. I think that would be more effective in dissuading folks from taking the chance.

Are you willing to chance your 2 boxes for a product that you will no likely have any other chance of getting unless you pay 200% markup on eBay? I sure as hell wouldn't mess with it.

I'm actually not going to risk getting cancelled on this one. Looks pretty sweet.

I think they will. Egg on their face and a lot of pissed off customers if they don’t follow through on that language.

Honestly I would say screw them. Yes, I know that's a lot of people here. But some of us that have been members since day one have gotten shut out of multiple offers. About time Topps tried to fix this.

Sounds like a lot of mothers, grandmothers, etc are going to be MC members next year.

I have 3 memberships for myself and my two sons. My plan was going to be to still order 6 if I am able, but to send them to two other addresses. My oldest is home from college, and doesn't have an address there due to Covid. My youngest I will just have sent to the grandparents. Anyone think this will be an issue?

My wife is a MC member. Paid the money. She might have to move out to get her two boxes!

For Draft Sapphire I ordered 24 boxes because I was fairly certain there would be no repercussions. But this time the language used in the email is pretty cut and dry. I'm betting nothing gets cancelled but no, I am not willing to take that chance and risk my two boxes. I do hope Topps actually follows through on their word though.

And with this year, production being up, should be fine

Ditto. The language for Draft Sapphire was very open to interpretation. Many assumed it meant 3 boxes per member, but the language did not properly state that. No confusion this time. Well, except for the household vs. member stipulation.

"IF".... No way they catch anybody. People will still try. Risk/Reward. Apparently the code is not written to catch people automatically. Doubt employees in shipping are like "Hey Bob, you have a Carol from NY over there?" They could of least said "When" to scare people a little.

I totally agree with this. I would be willing to bet with some of the profit from the 2 boxes I sell, that people who buy multiple boxes will still end up getting them. I think this is Topps being that person who says, "we're really serious this time!" but still isnt going to enforce anything.

However, I will only try to buy the two boxes since I dont want to risk the literal free money that is about to come everyone's way.

Wonder what the limit will be when the public sale hits. And will they have the same language about limitations per household? Would love for them to cancel on the bots but somehow I don't think that will happen.

HAHA!

Thats awesome! I dont think my wife would ever want her own membership but she does support me in my card endeavors. Hopefully my post didnt come off to sound like that I dont think women collect cards.

When I said mother/grandmother, its because those would be my first two choices of whose addresses I would use if I wanted to have multiple memberships at different addresses.

She does not collect. She invests! And when I explained the MC membership to her and the presale perk she took the plunge. She is not going to be happy about this since the presale perk has a lot more value to her than the pin and other sets. Not really as advertised if each membership is not equal.

"2 per household" sucks for those of us who collect with our kids.

I bought a membership last year. It was awesome, got one for my son this year.

Topps already makes it odd by sending the sets at different times. But we can live with that.

The big man is not gonna be happy when I tell him he can't have any Bowman Sapphire because Daddy gets 'em both. "Topps says you can't order any if Dad already bought his two."

You multiple membership people should really call Topps to get clarification. Each membership literally purchases the right to this presale and they should either grant 2 boxes per membership or refund the additional membership fees. If they want to control this next year by limiting memberships to 1 per household, no problem. They can't change the rules of the game mid-game though.

It won't be discounted for members, only advantage is pre-order (if the pre-order doesn't sell out). I seem to remember something last year for members that were pre-ordered but not everyone got it.

Someone called me greedy and only focused on flipping, this morning.

Man, they should look at this thread. You have people signing up accounts in their wives and childrens names. The greed and entitlement along with the "first-world problems" joke are all REAL here.

Deleted... Topps clarified, so it doesn't matter anymore...
