A base PSA 10 TC Auto is 3200 for Ohtani and 2k for Tatis. Would anyone look at those and wonder why Ohtani is so cheap in the same way they do for base? Base isn't some untapped or under appreciated market within the Ohtani sphere, it's simply oversupplied

We are in a graded card cycle and until the pop reports go up, Ohtani PSA 10 slabs will sell for a premium. Even his SGC 10’s are selling for significantly more because of there being a lack of PSA SLABS.

There definitely are many more options for Ohtani Rookie cards. A rising tide still lifts all ships and I am trying to prepare my graded boat for the rising tide with SGC. I NEVER put PSA in my auctions for other graded companies, but is people want a 10 then the auction will take care of itself. I will take the $30 fee over the $200 fee anyway.

Angels pitching has been pretty good recently.... mostly because Quintana stayed on the bench

Very crazy. Topps Now hold no value. It’s like a new car, it depreciates once you get it. They like to get people with FOMO. People will buy the stuff. I was guilty back in 2018. It looks great but too expensive sometimes and never holds any value.

Heard on Rich Eisen today that Babe Ruth's best HR total while pitching at least 15 games (but really, while pitching at all) was 29 HR.

Ohtani is at 40 HR, started 18 games, and has a better ERA during an era with better hitters. That's incredible.

I can't believe this isn't news everywhere. Is this the result of people just not being into baseball? If something like this was done as recent as 10-15 years ago, we'd see updates on his starts and HR's everywhere.

It's because he plays for the second-rate Angels who unfortunately are in the same market as the juggernaut LA Dodgers. If he played for the Yankees or the Mets it would be Front Page Headlines.

At least he’s not playing for a third- or fourth-rate team. It could be a LOT worse than playing for the Angels.

I think in the end, it won’t matter much that he played for the Angels, though I agree 100% it could be better had he been playing for the Yankees. That is…if the Yankees wouldn’t have ruined him by now. The Angels have clearly done a good job with him.
