you are right. Most of Spanish players are to old now. They are still good but they will overrun from younger teams.

Except there is the environmental factor to take into account (heat, humidity, marked changes of climate from one game to the next.....): the Confederations Cup showed Spain coming into the final very tired, and the semi against Italy is only a partial excuse - they played virtually one less game than Brazil since all their subs came in against Tahiti, whereas Brazil played pretty much the same starting XI throughout the tournament and had a tougher group. Although surely Spain will come in better prepared this time, the tournament is also longer

That makes me think that this could put other South American teams like Chile, Colombia (although huge blow if L'Equipe of today is right and they're about to announce that Falcao cannot play!), not to forget Uruguay who are always a pain in the proverbial (ask Brazil!) and naturally Argentine almost on par with the bigger European teams on a single match basis, especially the further we are into the tournament

That's the only team I can see besides Brazil that have the talent and pressure to win it all, my bids are in this order Spain-Brazil-Argentina-Germany-Netherlands.

Seeing quite a few of these, including several Pele's and Gullit's....

As part of a group break yesterday on here I got a purple Wayne Rooney card, a red Jack Wilshere card and a couple of coloured Switzerland cards. How are the coloured prizms selling?

this happens often in sticker autos. nothing much Panini can do as the sticker sheets are sent back by the player's reps

thus I believe autos that are full will sell for premium..

just a quick update, opened another case yesterday

Autos were Klinsmann, Kempes, Nasri, Eto, Lahm and Baggio (phew)

interesting thing was, I pulled the Gold /10 on my first pack of the case

Sergio Aguero 2/10

no greens, black or power prizms

Prices can be widely fluctuating although they are trends depending on the player(s) represented: purple Rooney has sold for anything between $1 and $13, red Wilshere between $1something and $8, Switzerland cards are unlikely to go above $10 either (unless it's a Green Prizm as it's much rarer)

On the other hand, get a Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar and a few others of any color, and you can see some crazy prices going on

Seems like only a few players are pulling a premium on the market. Not sure if that will change much like some are expecting come World Cup time. Maybe one or two players who have a breakout tournament will see prices increase. I just bought a case, should have it by Wednesday. I might keep a box un-opened to sale later if the prices go up.

Then don't use stickers if you cant control the quality. It's simple.
