Plus minus is not a great tool, specially in a small number of games, but you could tell he made a huge impact in both games.

Is this the magic opportunity that the Mavs need to get back in this series?

Glad the c's are up 2-0, but they lack big man depth with Porzingis out. Kornet is a bad downgrade after "ancient Al" Horford.

LUKA can never lose. He is a winner even if he cant get it done. Sums up luka bag holders

surprised no one has commented on my previous post.

I see Dallas bringing back the lob with Porzingis likely out tomorrow night.

Sensing a Dallas win.

My confidence in the Mavs is at an all time low right now. They still need other players to be able to make shots and the Celtics still have enough fire power/defensive power to overcome missing Porzingis. I hope you're right of course

Not having Porzingis under the basket will help a little bit, but in reality he only played 21 and 23 minutes and Mavs have hit 2-3 lobs in the first two games. The Celtics haven't had to double team Luka so the Mavs aren't getting guys free under the basket and PJ and Jones aren't getting wide open looks at threes like they did in previous series. The C's have four guys that can comfortably guard Luka one on one so they can rotate all day and have everyone on the court covered. Porzingis being out may open up the offense a little bit but probably not enough to matter.

Good news, I watched some doctor on YouTube who thinks Porzingis should be able to play through the injury but be limited. I'll believe that when I see it. Hopefully they have the 2004 Red Sox team doctor sewing Porzingis' ankle together right now.

Thinking Dallas gets back into the series tonight. This game could be a momentum changer.

I don't think so. Porzingis is a great rim protector, yes, but he wasn't blocking a bunch of lobs. The reason Dallas isn't getting any lob-dunks is because Boston refuses to double anyone or blitz Luka or Kyrie in the pick-n-roll. I don't see Boston changing their tactics until they need to.

It is absolutely all about single coverage on Kyrie and Luka. The Celtics are basically telling the Mavs those 2 are going to need to combine for 65-70 because they are not letting the other guys beat them.

And they don't need to because they have 4 guys on the court that can defend anyone on the Mavs.

It's pretty clear to me he makes a difference.

In the finals so far:
Porzingis on the court: Celtics +25

Porzingis off the court: Celtics +/-0

Small sample size I know

70 paint points for Dallas when off the floor, 30 when on the first 2 games. Mavs as a team shot 47% when off the floor only 40% when on the floor.

I'm hoping we get 2-2 and see a real series.

Should be a great game.

Dallas probably win by 10+

Doesn't matter if KP plays or not if Dallas keeps missing everything.
Hopefully they get back on track tonight.

Porzingis officially out tonight. Not surprised and I don't expect to see him again this year. The same YouTube doctor I watched who said Porzingis could probably play through it with limitations also said he'd probably need surgery after the season. If he needs surgery I can't imagine the Celtics are going to put him on the court again. I don't think it will matter much.

Praise Allah for guitarbrah.

The selection of some of these recent tiktok vocalists has been questionable at best.
