At least with buying a case/box at hobby there is some barrier against compulsively overspending (ie the time it will take to order and deliver another box… not to mention availability), whereas with ePack you are only as strong as your own impulse control.
I agree that this whole platform is dangerous for people with impulse control. But I gotta say, ePack is a revelation to me. I know it's been around for years, but I'm only using it now for the first time.

I'm sure like a lot of others here, I'm a busy guy. I've got small kids, I've got a business to run - I'm pretty short on free time and free space. So simple tasks like sorting, storing, listing, and shipping cards are hard to find time for. It can really make it laborious to participate in the hobby outside of ripping packs.

But with ePack, all that is gone. I can rip, trade, sell all from my computer. I'm not buying a load of supplies. I don't have tones of base laying around. I just ship the cards I actually want to PC to myself. Again, I know this isn't news to anyone here, but for me, it's amazing. I'm just sorry I didn't get onto it sooner.

On the topic on Marvel Metal, I was able to trade for a (Low Series) Wolverine Red PMG. I'll admit I'm a little biased because I'm just excited to have it, but even with the pinkish hue I think it's the best looking of all the Wolverine PMGs to date. The artwork they used on this one is sick and has so much energy. Though, I wouldn't argue with someone who preferred the 2013 version.

Even the High Series offers something completely different with that classic look.

It does feel like Upper Deck tried to "modernise" the PMG.

They do look nice in those scans, seems like it makes those newer ones more red than they really are.
I think Wolverine got the bum deal with PMGs, with both 15 and 17 not even in costume. I’m glad the new ones went back to a more standard Wolverine.

The 2013 retro PMG is the same image as the 2015 Vibranium (lazy on UDs part, reusing just 2 years after). Not sure where the art is originally from.

Portraits are trending up. I sold 2x that were $200 more than the previous sales. Haven't looked at all of them, but I've noticed a few and all were up in values.

This thread has been amazing to follow!

If anyone is looking to sell high number pinks, red PMG’s, or green PMG’s - DM me.

Will look at e-pack stuff.

Most interested in Pinks.

Thank you guys & hope some of you can help me!

Thanks! Probably the best item I've pulled from it. Still haven't hit a green PMG from all the packs I've opened.

The fairly deep checklist in this X-men Metal set reminds me just how little I know about some of this newer generation of marvel characters. PMG in two packs though- not shabby at all.

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the plate booklets from this set! Here’s my collection so far.

Always looking for more! My name on epack is mj23collector23.

I have Aurora pink #73/75 if you need it. I don't think it is high series though

I have opened quite a bit over the last few months. Surprisingly both Deadpool greens were hit out of 2 pack and a 1 pack purchase. Buying boxes hasn't been as kind to me.

Inspired me to do a few 2 pack purchases, these were in back to back lots….

So that felt good… Both are on COMC.

Very nice hits! Love that sketch. Buying 1 or 2 packs at a time seems to be the best way to open this product.

Here is a screenshot of the Deadpool LS green.

Also, curious to hear what everyone's thoughts are on the long term value of the Purely Periodic set.
