Z, that is such a wonderful card! I am super happy you were able to land one. You couldnt have timed when you bought any better. Glad to have helped out! Share that everyday on here as far as I am concerned.

Just got back from picking up my first Jordan rookie. 2 hours round trip and $1,100 lighter, I now own a BGS 2.5 1986 Fleer #57.

Yeah I have a nice sticker and saw the blue flip psa dna #57. I have been offering strong but seems sellers are asking for 2025 prices today lol. Anyone has one or knows where one is shoot me a message.

Some crazy numbers on psa 9’s recently too. 10’s seem to be raising them up.

Crazy to see what the MJ card-market has done these past months

Does anyone have a ballpark guess on what a pair of VNDS MJ-Auto 1985 OG BRED Air Jordan 1s, Size 13, with UDA, would go for?

I have a pair and wondered if it might be time to sell

THNX for your help

Received this one earlier in the week. Had been putting off grabbing a copy for too long and finally pulled the trigger.

Hello everyone I'm looking for options on this MJ rc. Does this MJ rc look like a possible crossover to a psa 7 or 8? The surface has a miscut/tear on the edge? How much will that affect a grade from psa? Thanks again. Attachment 498589Attachment 498590

Hard to really see the issue but if there is edge damage it has no shot at 8 and probably not 7. That’s not a NM card to me and wouldn’t be to psa either.

Maybe a vertical scratch through the top border. Always tough to spot surface issues with the case and the sleeve in the way.

way to go !

not a lot of data/sales on beckett 2.5 but of the 4 that sold since april:
2,000, 1,400 1,800 and 1,600

"equivalent" probably to a psa 2: 1,600 2,000 1,500 1,700 1,100 and 1,400
(there was one sale for $ 725 that appeared to be an overgraded "1" probably)

long story short, I think you did very decent for yourself.

Do you guys think there’s a shot at a BGS 9.5 here? Heck, even a PSA 10? I feel like I’ve seen worse copies than mine in those grades.

It very well could be own personal bias though, which is why I’d love to hear some opinions from my fellow Jordan collectors!

Great looking card wow. Just a question, Im new to grading, does the little circle on the back above the bulls head affect grading?

A psa 9 sold for 28K yesterday and a BGS 9.5 (min gem) sold for 51K two days ago.I already passed a 50K offer on my bgs 9.5 last week. Why would I cross it over to a psa 9 to downgrade its value from 50K to 28-30K? Just remind me when a PSA 9 sells for the same price as BGS 9.5 and I might consider crossing over my BGS 9.5 to PSA 9 at that time
Upon further review your bgs 9.5 with minimum subgrades may not even cross to a numeric PSA grade cause it may be sheet cut lol.
BGS gives numeric grades to sheet cut cards but PSA does NOT.

Regarding the value of the BGS 10 it would have to depend if it was a sheet cut card or not. BGS grades sheet cut cards with numeric numbers while PSA does not.
If the BGS appears sheet cut it would not be worth so much.

I've never heard of a sheet cut Jordan in a slab.

Yes I remember the heritage BGS 10 fleer Jordan rookie didn’t meet the reserve of around $60,000 in 2014. Possible that the Jordan BGS fleer rookie auctioned by heritage was sheet cut so there was little demand for it.
Watch out for BGS fleer Jordan rookies cause there are many sheet cut cards in BGS holders as BGS grades sheet cut cards while PSA does NOT.
Sheet cut cards do not come from a pack so they are less desirable.

if that's the case that should play a Hugh difference.. that is on the lines of alteration? is a sheet cut, cutting the card on your own from a set sheet? card was never placed in a pack then...

Yes sheet cut cards were cut from an uncut sheet and never placed in a pack. BGS gives numeric grades to sheet cut cards while PSA does not. Many sheet cut cards are in high grade BGS holders because PSA would not give them a numeric grade.
