edit - wasn't expensive so not a big deal. Just wouldn't have normally ordered.
There is a nno listing at the end of the set for the redemption card. The sellers should get this right.

Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong then. Not sure.

I asked this is the Prizm Draft basketball thread but it's really a SportLots question:

Can someone school me on what I'm looking at? On SportLots if you search for players from this set (example Anthony Edwards card #1) it will have two listings:

2020 Panini Prizm Draft Picks
And
2020 Panini Prizm Draft Picks Prizm (and parallels of this).

What is the difference between the two? I'm not well versed on newer basketball cards or the ten million Panini naming conventions.

When you see the word prizm, think of the word refractor. Prizm = Refractor, Pink prizm = Pink refractor, etc....

To me the confusing part for some collectors is the fact that some of their product lines (Prizm and draft picks prizm) are named prizm.

I've also struggled with this a bunch. If I get too confused, I go to where you purchase, and then I look at cards with pictures to make sure mine matches up.

I'm winning an auction on sportlots right now. And it's been over 72 hours since I placed the bid that's winning. Yet the auction is still sitting on DAY 3, not SOLD status. Does anyone know how the timing of this works? Is it 3 calendar days, instead of exactly 72 hours? Thanks for any insight you have.

Edit for "should have read the user guide better":
"The auction status is updated once a day early in the morning and not when the bid is placed. As a result, 3 days is the minimum amount of time that the auction will go without a bid before being sold."

Still 4+ days left in January and it's already my best month ever in both orders received and total dollar amount.

Thank you to all those that have given me the opportunity to help them add to their collections.

Not a record month for me but the last 10 days or so have been great.

I had 25% more orders in January than my previous best month. Granted we are only talking about 72 orders, but it's nice to see the growth. It only got a little quiet the last couple of days of the month.

Big thanks to all my buyers, your trust in me and my grading is appreciated.

I finally put my store "live" today. I don't want to have my inventory erased (again LOL) by leaving it on vacation mode too long, even though I don't have quite as many cards loaded as I wanted to...but that's life. Going to try to make a point to add a couple hundred cards here & there when I can in between busy life stuff.

Alright, let's see these orders roll in haha.

What's your seller name there? I'll check out what you've got.

Back to Blue Star for the first time in a few months. Didn’t realize how much things had picked up.

Been buying here and there but this week I found a treasure trove of deals for one of my PC guys.

I did so many small transactions (using the box option) my wife called me in a panic when they cleared, thought our account was compromised and that the hacker was testing with small amounts before doing significant numbers. "no, no, it's just a site that my slow self just discovered..."

I probably could have checked out all at once and made one big paypal transaction but I was piecemealing it instead. I really enjoy what I've found so far.

Your sellers will appreciate your combining orders when possible. PayPal charges a fixed fee plus a percentage of the payment. I think it is about 30 cents per payment, but as a seller I appreciate it when a small order has 7 cents of fees rather than 35. Those differences add up over time. Plus PayPal makes enough money already in my book.

You may want to see if you can switch over to the PayPal micropayments processing, if the vast majority of your transactions are for small dollar amounts.

Those payments are processed by Sportlots site Paypal. The only ones processed by your Paypal are the monthly or twice monthly payments.

As a sportlots seller I don’t deal with PayPal. Sportlots takes the payments, and passes the fees to sellers.

I cannot say enough good things about my first 10 or so transactions on SL. Doing some low cost speculation buys for the upcoming season and everything has been really good

I'm sure I've said it before but I'll say it again... I use a few different platforms to buy cards and Sportlots has some nice features that set it above most of the others. I love the cart page where you can sort, filter, see all the shipping limits by seller, etc. Only complaints are the wonky sort by set sometimes, and wishing I could get some type of notification of cart items that sell and disappear.

The really need the ability to add multiple cards to your cart at one time instead of having to hit add each time. But I am a Sportlots fan so it isn't a deal breaker.

Does anyone else still have trouble getting sellers to respond to questions? Not sure if it's a function of the Sportlots system or what, but it either takes days or I never get a response. With so many cards misidentified or lacking details I sometimes get skittish about buying particular cards without making sure I know what I'm getting, like a numbered card/parallel for example.

I always respond. If it involves checking for 25 1990 donruss variations, it might take a few days-non inventoried boxes to go through. If it's a simple question, "Can you send cards out tomorrow, if I order today?", I respond quickly. I'm retired, but most sellers are working during the day and dont have access to their cards. Some travel for work and may not be home daily to check their cards to answer. If you order from star sellers, you should always be able to work out a refund, if the card is not what you expected.
