I really think it’s going to be closer than people think and come down to the end. I’m just happy to see more people voting and taking an interest in their future.

Crossover question, how badly are we going to get screwed on reporting profits on cards under Biden's proposed tax plan? Not sure with the capital gains and small business hikes if they fall under one of those

I've voted Republican in every election I could except 2016 where I voted for Gary Johnson. The GOP has completely lost me for now. I don't agree with almost anything they push as an agenda. I don't think cutting taxes while expanding spending is a good idea. I am pro choice mainly because I'll never have to be in a position to make that choice. I don't think the Green New Deal is the end all, be all, but I think we should be doing more to try and improve the environment. I also believe that there should be some kind of public option. I think that the idea of health insurance being a privilege is a strange idea. Overall, I don't quite believe in "pull yourself up by your bootstraps." I do a decent amount of volunteer work in the inner city parts of Cleveland and I can tell you that the path out of there for most of those kids is very small and narrow. Do I think the Democrats are going to swoop in and save the day? No, I'm a realist. BUT I do believe that some of their policies will help things.

On the other side, the GOP has not only put Donald Trump as their head of state, but has embraced him. So many in the GOP hitched their wagons to him and honestly, if Trump goes down, I hope he sticks to those that fought by his side. I won't say Trump was the worst President ever because they always say it takes about 15 years to really judge the a Presidency. I will say that he was often times embarrassing. The President is a human and humans make mistakes. His use of Twitter though is shameful. I don't judge people for voting for Trump but it's not something I could ever do in good conscience. I even voted against him in the Ohio GOP primary. Had Kasich won the nomination, I would have probably voted for him in 2016 since I really didn't like Clinton.

Hope that helps.

It's amazing that it only took two guys with about 2 years left to live to make people have an interest.

I'm not sure if you just don't realize it yet or you are just trying to convince yourself otherwise but your a Democrat. Lol literally every stance you just took is opposite of the republican party. Maybe you uses to be republican but you definitely are not one now. Absolutely nothing wrong with that but I wanted to point out the obvious that you seem to be dancing around.

They are definitely old. I really think it started with more people wanting a change after the last four years. That is turn has brought out people who content with how the last four years have gone. No matter which side you support it’s nice to see people care about their country.

I have family in rural central PA and the signs are incredibly one sided. It’s going to be very close in PA. It will probably be the state that decides everything.

I’m not sure I see the GOP increasing spending. If you could pinpoint that I would love to read it.

IMO he has done a great job in bullying countries into paying their fair share. We have been taken advantage of for too long. NAFTA was huge for me. Bringing back manufacturing was big. China has done nothing more than steal our intellect and profited huge from it. We complain about low minimum wage here...how about the TVs and clothes on your back being produced by very very cheap labor there?

Just curious, how old are you?

We have not had an actual budget pass since 1996. We fund the government months at a time with CR's. No matter what happens, spending goes up under this environment. It's impossible for it not to. Cut taxes, raise taxes, none of it matters as the increase in spending is already baked in. It's lazy. It's irresponsible, but it gives the House a lot of political cover since they aren't forced to make any real budget decisions. We just bake in a certain level of growth YOY and write the check. Most of the time if you hear that spending has been cut, it is only a cut to the growth. So very brave of them.

Trump or no Trump, the GOP did not offer you much of what you like anyway based on what you have laid out there.

I'd also argue that liberalism is what has made those inner city kids' path so narrow.

With the European countries decisions, a second lockdown is a possibility. Things are running out at my Costco and people are filling carts again with canned foods.

Remember when some Trumpers were recently trying to make the argument that it was unsafe to be publicly in support of Trump? Now they're reporting Trump flags and signs everywhere and crazed Trumpers driving around in pickups trying to run liberal politicians off the road. A lot of identity confusion going on on the right. #strongvictim

I am not against it. If they want to participate that is their choice. The American way. Covid is real but it has also been very political. I have not worn a mask since day one. Many around me have not also. My Aunt is a hospice counselor and she is against her patients being labeled as statistics when they pass but yet they are. Herd immunity has always been my opinion.

How has the left helped inner city kids? They have proposed nothing to help them. It has gone on for too long..
