Super happy to have won an auction for 5 megas for $760 ($152 per) yesterday. Was a little worried that the seller might not have gotten what he wanted, so quickly checked his profile feedback. Turns out he received 3 negative feedback in the past month for cancelling orders. All 3 of those auctions were single or low bid auctions, so obviously they sold for less than was expected. Guess what, got an email from him today asking how important the auction was to me because 3 of the boxes were "damaged." Needless to say I'm pretty skeptical. I'm waiting on new pictures of the "damaged" boxes to make a decision. He was worried about receiving negative feedback. Either way, this seems like a negative feedback situation. I'll keep you all posted with the ebay user name if it is applicable.

Why put up an auction sale of boxes that were damaged? Hes full of it. Just tell him to send them and youre ok if the boxes are beat up a little. Sounds like he can't take a loss once in a while.

So stupid, just leave a negative and report him. Link here, click on "seller has violated eBay's policies" and the rest is straightforward. If you are willing to spend a few minutes in chat with eBay you can just get this fool banned directly from eBay given past history.

He's renegging on the sale to what, sell for an extra $50-$100 max? Post his user ID, I'm not playing games anymore with eBay sellers. Still annoyed I lost that Ja crusade bronze for my rainbow over somebody trying to squeeze an extra $50

I don't sell via auction very often because I hate the feeling when cards go under market value. But if they do, I certainly don't look for excuses to cancel. That's complete BS and I hope they ship, rather than ruin their integrity over $100. seriously it was only like $25 under market per box, not life-changing money here

This. Chronicles is the only product of its kind year in and year out. You want tons of rookies and variety? You’re buying Chronicles.

I think the ceiling is easily 4-5x of current prices and that is probably conservative.

Agree Spaceman...I lost a good amount on a tatis /5 auto right before he started to heat up. Should I have cancelled the sale and told him it somehow has a dinged corner now? Not worth the integrity or the negative feedback. Post his username if you have it.

Nice!! I've been selling everything Ja to make back the lionshare of my break buyin... but I think I will try to add a few mid ender's if his prices come down just alittle.

Those silver zions are clean! Grade... and what's nice is you can sneak them into a >$99 bulk sub. May be the best return on investment cards out right right now for nickle and dimers like me.

Awesome stuff man. Thanks for showing those off.

I also really dig the bronze chromes... I accidentally won a copper marquee thinking it was a bronze lol.

When I get around to it I'll get to inspecting and send a few of the silvers I have under standard. If you do want to get in on chrome silvers, I'm as biased as anyone given what I've bought but now I would think is the time. It's the offseason and supply is as large as it will ever be at one time right now. I think these are all going far too cheap and worth the upgrade in weight class on price to go from base to silver while you still can if you pc a certain player. Anyone who has opened chronicles knows how tough these are to pull

Prices are absolutely ripe for the picking right now, especially on Silvers and Bronzes. I opened a ton of this stuff and have only pulled a Bronze Nunn Phoenix, Silver Reddish HH, and Silver Hunter Phoenix.

Leave a negative, neutral, or ignore?

New collector here, recently bought into a ton of hobby breaks but won an auction last night where the seller cancelled the entire break. My buy-in was only about $30 ($30 average price) for a PYT 2x Hobby Chronicles break. Seller claimed people wouldn't pay up through private message but listed their cancellation reason as "Item is out of stock or broken".

Calculated their total sale and it came out to about $1200. 2x Hobby Chronicles would be 1800 retail, so the likely reason was they didn't want to take a loss.

Thing is, I offered to pay for the spots people cancelled and he just ignores it. It's hard to find Hobby breaks so I just want him to go through with it. What to do?

Edit: His feedback is immaculate with 200+ positive no negative or neutral.

I bid on the same break and got outbid on all the ones I wanted. I saw on his Instagram he cancelled the break.

Glad I didn't win any. That really would have annoyed me.

I saw something similar on fb marketplace, side not ive never used fb marketplace to purchase. But a guy is running 3 retail Prizm boxes for $130 for 3 random teams each. So he’s pulling in $1300 for 3!!! Retail boxes and still has to pay for all the 10 different shippings. Easy pass for me, way to good to be true

I just picked up 4 megas/4 blasters/4 hanger boxes for best offer of $900. Going to be tucking that shipment away for a long while. I’ll probably open up what I have now

negative or neutral imo. you didn't lose any money, but part of the purpose of feedback is to let potential future buyers know that this is how they do business

Hangers are banded per the shown picture, so it counts a 1, right? /s

Honestly, it's kinda hard to tell with this years release...

Mine is a bronze. The only one I found was an auction that wasn’t really a bronze.

Maybe I've just been unlucky, but out of the 10 or so chrome parallels I've bought, all but 1 seem to have fairly big surface issues. Not really scratches, but moreso dimples all over the front. A Coby White silver Phoenix was so bad I almost considered filing a return (something I've never done before). Anyone else notice this?

Yes, I have noticed that as well. Not all of mine have been like that, but a good portion which means of course, no grading.
