Nobody detests the troll more than I do. Though, to be fair, there are probably a few hundred (or thousand) other Blowout members who detest him just as much. But I agree that there wasn’t ill-intention in that particular post.

That said… Every time a seagull flies over me, I duck for cover, as I just assume it’s going to drop a poop bomb on me. Those flying varmints lost the benefit of the doubt many years ago, after too many “incidents.”

Rhetorical question and no need to answer. No one on these forums I respect more then you.

But how often does someone with the intelligence and fire of BB mention they are going to bid on a specific card that is at auction? Or then post the same auction to share it with everyone for the benefit of the community that he is also trying to win? He tipped his hand.

Best case (my opinion) that was posted to cause chaos. (It's probably this one!)

Worst case that was posted specifically to negatively impact another member and he bid on the auction with zero intention to try and win it.

Both are bad intent. This one is pretty clear to me although its logic based not fact based. It's unfortunate.

BB I'm sure you will respond again, but I'm going to leave this one alone and move on and not respond about this further. I hope I'm way wrong, but can't conclude otherwise.

Edit to clarify. Ofcourse nothing wrong with posting auctions. I do it all the time. And if some one posted the Yordan /5 auction last week that would have been fine. As long as not for negative reasons.

You know what? I stand corrected. I had not taken in the full context of his actions (i.e. had not read the post about his bidding plans) and was only going off the post that included the auctions.

Frankly, I’m relieved. It had pained me greatly to say anything about the troll that could have in some way been construed as defending him. A great burden has been lifted. So, thank you for setting me straight.

I only voted twice.

I loved reading the MLB.com blurb about Ohtani making the cut with his .833 OPS. And thrn there was runner-up Yordan, with his 1.076 OPS…

Of course, Yordan is a left fielder, so I say bump Stanton from the lineup and get 44 in there!

Ohtani is more well known and no rule I’m aware of confines fans to vote for any particular status, stats, or anything else.

All star game is a fan popularity contest and has been ever since fans voted for the starters. Frankly the fans nearly got the entire slate correct, Ohtani included. Don’t be salty because your one dimensional favorite is a backup rather than a starter.

I'm a Yankees fan, not an Astros fan, so he isn't anything to me but a baseball player who is having a better year offensively at DH than Ohtani. Sorry, the fans did get it wrong because it is a BS popularity contest instead of the best player at each position for the 1st half of the season being voted in.

The pick doesn't upset me much since I hate the Astros. It's just wrong that moron fans vote someone in at a position that isn't the best at that position during the current season. It's hard to believe anyone who actually watches baseball and looks at the stats would defend the fans choice.
