For a 7 grade I wouldn’t call it cheap.

Still early in the season, but JROD OPS'ing below .700 with a sub-.200 BA.
You look at his career numbers, and his OPS has dropped every year since his rookie season. Not exactly good trends!

Purely coincidental and one has nothing to do with the other but many were writing off Corbin Carroll as “over” and he is arguably your MVP thus far. Julio can be that too.

In theory everyone can show improvement but with Jrod it seems to be getting worse each passing season and that is worrisome. Carroll is doing amazing right now but it’s a long season.

He still projects as a player who can reach 3,000 hits. He's on pace to have at least 900 hits at 26 when the 2027 season ends. When he's 27 when the 2028 season commences, we'll all have a better idea of how his career will wind up.

Is there anybody not named Judge or Ohtani in the modern market that has held up with pricing. Soto and Acuna maybe? Feel like there are ton with big arrows down either for on the field or off issues. Tatis, Vlad Jr, Wander, Julio, LouBob, Alonso, Eloy, Carrol (on the upswing now). Bobby Witt Jr has still been good. Now we are onto Elly and Skenes full aborad the hype train.

Constant lesson on not to go overboard on spending on prospects. Really need to wait for these players to settle in.

According to this list, any player who has at least 0 hits thru age 26 is “on pace” to join the 3,000 hit club.
