Or an October Surprise. But then again, I doubt it would change anything. Especially when you hear people say the sole reason they are voting for her is because she is a woman...or...because they want to see the first woman president. The joke is on the people in this thread claiming the uneducated are what is keeping Trump afloat.

The entire GOP strategy for defeating Clinton, the same failed one they tried to use on Obama:

"Is this something?"
No.

"Well, is this something?"
No.

"How about this? Is this something?"
No.

"What about this thing from 20 years ago? Is this something?"
No.

"Well, what about the first thing I asked about? Is it something now?"
Still no.

An October Surprise would not be enough at this point, just like the June, July, and August "surprises" weren't either. The way those work is that the surprise leads those favoring the front runner to switch allegiances to a different viable candidate. Besides Clinton, there are no others running.

That is where my vote is going as well. Do not agree with his entire platform but I can not fatham voting for either Trump or Clinton. This is such an embarrassing mess for this country.

6 months ago I thought Hillary had no shot against Trump if she were to win the nomination. How wrong I was. The vast majority of the country can't stand him and I think there's a pretty large contingent that are legitimately scared he may get us into a big time world conflict. That resonates. I've never heard anyone who has disdain for Hillary mention that if she were to become president they'd be afraid of any type of global conflict.

Come November that's going to be the deciding factor. Both sides are pretty dead on with what the opposing sides candidate represents. The deciding factor will be Trump's mouth writing checks the American public doesn't want to cash. Not after the past 60+ years of failed wars.
She had to cheat to beat an outsider in her own party. The Democratic Party is more a gang of extortionists, thieves and bribers of public officials than an American political party. She can't even pull 20% in a Blowout poll.
I have no idea how anyone thinks she has a lock on anything.

Blowout poll results are predictable. White males, especially on the older side, are the base of the GOP.

People denied the Presidential polls during the last election as well. It is what it is. Only shot Trump has is to really shine during the debates. Possible but not probable.

Both parties are full of scum.

But Trump isn't a republican, so how can he represent their worst?

I think the Blowout poll is the only poll I've seen Trump leading in.

I can't believe anyone who doesn't think this is locked down. Honestly, if you can't see the race is completely over I don't know what you're doing or if you even participate in reality. Just the penultimate in confirmation bias if you think Trump has a shot.

I'm glad I laid money on Hillary at -225. She's now -450 to win. If you're a believer in Trump there's never been a better time to put your money where your mouth is. Trump is +325. Take some cash and lay it down, you'll never get a better return on your money in your lifetime.

Pretty easily really. Just incessantly pander to the lowest common denominator.

I would continue to post only to bother you, but I do a lot more than that with them, as you know.

I'll be continuing to call you out on your "is this somethings?". It is all you have, including your weak examples above. They are nothing compared to what the candidates you support and have supported have done. Hillary has never once lied us into a war that killed thousands of American soldiers like Bush did. She has not openly made fun of disabled people like Trump has.

This is why you'll have no say in whether Hillary Clinton is elected President or not, and neither will I. My vote cancels yours. Your vote cancels mine. We'll find out what everyone else thinks on election day.

Beyond that, I already told you I don't have a message therapist, but hey, I don't begrudge you a chance to use your fancy foreign words. You need a win.

Agreed. Despite the fact that I fundamentally disagree with most of what Bernie wanted to do I absolutely agreed with his stance on gov't corruption and respected him for that. The sad fact that he buckled by endorsing her while knowing she was the corruption in its purest form is sad, especially after finding out he had a really solid shot at defeating her until the Dems stabbed him in the back.

Both Clinton and Trump are bad candidates, that's just a fact. If you can give a solid reason for voting for Clinton besides "At least it isnt Trump" I would like to hear it.

I'm not sure what those who don't want Trump or Clinton, or a more traditional establishment GOP candidate, and who have additionally lost all respect for Bernie think is left. If Stein or Johnson could somehow become a frontrunner, there's no way they could withstand the same scrutiny applied to the others previously, and be left unblemished enough to earn that same group's support. Is anarchy the preference to basically anyone running for President at this point?
