Anyone think we will finally be able to pre-order The Walking Dead Season 2 trading cards from Blowout tomorrow? Monday seems like a better day, if any, to do it.

Yes, allocations were given out by Cryptozoic last Tuesday. There have been a few places to have pre-sales up but BO so far.

crypto announced their allocations a week ago friday but that doesn't mean the distributors did - some of them are playing games

Just got a quote from another retailer and it is not good.
I know they need to make money.
I know the product is hot.
I know the product is limited.
But 60% higher prices than a usual Crypto release is just plain GREEDY!!!!

Well as a side note, I just bought that Season Two Blu Ray set that came in the plastic head. I figure if I can't get in on the cards might as well buy something else Walking Dead related.

My season 2 came in the mail Friday. Started it last night. The pacing seems A LOT better when watched back to back.

Really suprised by the head. It looks good, a bit smaller than I had hoped for.

So I thought the box that it came in seemed rather large. I might sell the head since all I wanted was the special edition Blu Ray that came with it. I'm not sure though, I'll have to get it home and look at it then to make a final decision.

I too bought it for the Blu Ray, as I have the season one limited edition too. But I figure $40 for the discs, means the head cost me $20. Not a bad deal IMO. It's a neat collectible to have on the shelf.

Locking mechanism is a bit weak.

It kinda stink that the head doesn't hold seasons 1 and 2. I opened it up at work to take a look and that's what it seemed like. Not that it really matters all that much, I'll just keep Season 2 on the DVD rack instead.

I was bummed to see that myself. I was hoping it would hold both. But I too, am keeping season 2 on my rack with season 1, and the head just on display on my desk.

Nope, I haven't e-mailed them since Cujo's post about it being this week. They aren't going to tell us the truth. They will post it when collectors are most desperate to get their hands on it and charge outrageous prices for boxes not cases because they will tell us "cases aren't available." Just like D&A lied.
