I agree it's a good product as a tennis fan, I'd compare it to F1 in a way, if you're a fan you were probably pleased you got a pretty comprehensive set with a majority of top names, it just doesn't have broad appeal and Topps didn't do a good job marketing it either. On the bright side you can't compare it to UD Golf which is missing most of the top players AND doesn't have broad appeal.

It also felt like the world's eyes were on tennis/US Open last year with Coco's run, this year her being eliminated early, Navarro/Pegula being the US reps that went far but being Nepo babies didn't appeal them to many feel good storylines, and the Olympics took attention away. There is also a small window to capitalize while a sport is in the spotlight, same as F-1, if this had been the set to release last year instead of whatever junk that first set was I think it could of been a lot bigger.

Topps is dropping a few more tennis products too either later this year or early next year, which could be the reason dealers are also dropping $$ fast

They need a high end Tennis product. Match used memorabilia patch autos, etc.

Id love to host a break of the current sapphire and future tennis products but blowout doesnt have cases of sapphire readily available even right now. Wouldnt be a bad price point if they did. A high end would be tough to do

I doubt it as it would probably leak but it's also possible someone found out they are doing a Finest or something with on-card and dropped price and others followed suit. As low as it's getting I can imagine it being even worse if they announce something like that and the pricepoint isn't insane. Could be getting ahead of the curve.

Topps will definitely drop another Tennis product. They want to grow the hobby, niches included, because that’ll grow their pockets. Just need to be smart about price-point and attributes (on-card autos for a mid-to-high-end product) and step up marketing.

There are two (2) products that will be released. One is a National Treasures equivalent and one is a mid-end newish product. Don 't ask how I know lol.

Have any of the main superfractors (Joker, Carlos, McEnroe, Graf, etc.) surfaced yet? Or is this yet another Topps product that we will have to wonder if the top hits were packed out. And yes, I realize there are lots of cases/boxes yet to be opened.

Hoping a Topps high end product would include Gut Check (game used string from racquet plus auto) and they can sign Nadal and Feds for the ultimate grail card triple auto (Joker/Nadal/Federer).

As for your first point: the way Topps is taking in hand pictures of all big 1/1 cards lately and posting them on Twitter, it just leaves a scummy feeling that they are controlling where the big 1/1's go.

The strings are a great idea. Or pieces of the grip or frame. That would be awesome.

Get A Grip; hard signed piece of grip tape (similar to hockey tape sigs in other products)
Foot Fault; tread from used tennis shoe
Center Court Showdown; booklet with one sig on each side from players and court displayed as backdrop
