Had never seen this set, but love the design. From Italy for the 1958-59 season.

On the back the card highlights the position the player plays by putting the player on the field in the right spot.

Just purchased from Italy, hope it comes in good condition!

Picked up a few cards for my 57 and 59 sets as well as the last raws I needed for my eddie mathews and mccovey runs. Couldn't believe I finally found a May's this good raw.

Amazing raw purchases! Where have you been finding these? It is a crime how low Eddie Mathews cards are. I pick them up every chance I get!

Posted this on the baseball forum, but this was the last one I needed for my Big Klu run, and one of the coolest cards ever.

That is a great card! I have been concentrating on collector's grade cards and higher recently. Everyone seems to be chasing the perfectly centered lower graded cards, and some of these higher graded vintage have been ignored. Well the non-PSA one's at least. The registration PSA collectors are keeping those cards strong in price.

Thanks. I've always been one who worries less about vintage centering than most. For me, condition is more about how close a card is to how it would have come out of the pack. Centering is how it came out of the pack. So a sharp card, though a bit off centered, is fine by me. That said, I also like a low grade card with nice eye appeal.....I guess I just like cards.

I have gotten most of my better raws from my 2 LCS. They always have taken care of me when they get nice vintage in knowing I'm a sucker for nice vintage... especially set needs. Shout out to Big Mike at the warehouse and Enrigue at Northland Baseball. (Is that allowed?)

I posted these on the basketball forum but I figure you'd appreciate them - a couple 1963-64 Kahn's Wieners basketball cards, Bob Boozer and Jerry Lucas!

As a K-State grad, I appreciate that Bob Boozer card.

Here's a nice one I got a few weeks ago. Been collecting Brooklyn Dodger slabs and have been eying the 52 Topps High # Lavagetto for a while. It's a really great looking card, but a bit pricey and so as a stopgap I bought this one for a song. Also a nice looking card of a postseason hero...

Just wanted to display the results of my first vintage SGC submission. My first SGC submission ever to be honest, and I'm glad I tried them. Excellent communication & customer service, quick turnaround and a reasonable price. Two weeks door-to-door on regular service of 9 cards (3 were modern). I thought the Killebrew might do a tad better and the 6.5 kind of hits my OCD a bit - a 7 would have been the NUTZ I've got a few more I'm going to send in. I'll update the thread when I get them back. I like these slabs...This could get kind of addicting

Great looking SGC submission.
Really like the 1954 Ashburn.

I'd love to get those kind of grades in my next submission.

I'm all fired up about Halloween so I appreciate the Jason card!

With a few of these coming back from SGC today, I accomplished a big goal of my 2023 collecting - the 25 Hall of Famers from the t205 set

These also came in today and I wanted to show them off too!

Really nice card! Congrats on finishing the run. Such a great player for the Reds

Super cool! Love Kahn's. Recently picked up an 8x10 auto of Lucas in a Royals uni
