143 Japanese sets...way to many if you ask me. I like that the Netherlands set Printed 70, just enough....not to little not too much.

-Stroman autographed ball relic

I wish Yelich had a card of his own in this WBC.
He has been very stable/consistent in this tournament, and deserve some acknowledgement.

I thought it was quite low.
Some players in Team Japan are potential future Big Leaguers.

Yes, I think anyone not featured on a card but was on the team needs a card....I mean think about it as a ball player this maybe the highlight of your career...and to not have a card in this set would suck. But it is TOPP NOW, not Topps Team sets.

I think the USA set will print more.
We can still buy it now, knowing that we get 2 bonus cards against only 1 for Puerto Rico.

I can't pull the trigger. I'd like to get one of the better relic cards, but I'd almost rather Stroman's signature not be on there. Show a picture of the whole team or something.

Exactly what I thought.
I'd rather have had the red relic without Stroman auto on there...
But pulled the trigger for the historic moment, and imagining how cool the relic piece will be.

Huge let down. Considering the semi final Puerto Rico card was better then the championship card.

My assumption is Topps just didnt have any auto contracts with the star players of team USA, would of really loved a duel auto relic.

I was in the middle of checking out for the /99 and it sold out in less then 10 minutes! I bought one of the /49 for 79.99 even though stromans autograph isn't on the mockup. (It said autographed, so it better be autographed!)

Those are fans I'm betting this set is going to be much better then any other...those /99 at $49 where just what collectors wanted way to go Fred! You guys nailed it. I picked up one even though I said I wouldn't. Was just amazing tournament. I went back for more and w/i 10 all 99 gone.

I ended up buying #/99, #/49, #/10 relic-autos...
Hoping plain white base with texture for #/99, WBC logo colors on surface for #/49, and side plate for #/10.

If they use the colors only on #/25, then I get same thing for #/99 and #/49, which is gonna be a let-down.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the /49 after I missed out on the /99. Said to myself I wasn't going to buy one today, but I absolutely loved the price point! Exactly in the neighborhood of what they should always be IMO. Nice work Topps!
