Well I don't go on the news because everything is pretty slanted one direction or the other. Thanks for providing a link to the story for me to read though!

But they aren’t career politicians.

They’re career profiteerers.

Since a career politician is now a dirty word, let’s get rid of all of them.

That would have to include:
McConnell
Graham
Pence (been trying since ‘88)
Actually most of the Senate
I don’t feel like running through the House

Honestly, I don't think masks have been discussed all that much in recent weeks.
Do I like wearing it? Nope, but I do and again will say that most right leaning posters have said the same thing.
Let's be honest, even the experts were questioning masks in the beginning.

I think he was saying the media isn't showing it because the media is slanted. Not that you purposely don't watch unbiased media. I don't think that was a dig at you.

What I like to do is use Twitter search, and just search key words. For example - 'hunter biden', 'biden crack', 'biden china', etc etc.

You don't need an account to search. And you can choose who and what links you want to click through.

This is really odd....... I could not find any mention of Hunter on the front page of Fox news.
When Fox has a story that just "disappears" that usually means it was debunked.

Might want to Google Anthony Bobulinski.

To the degree of effectiveness, sure. To say they don't work at all seems like a stupid hypothesis. I use the wall analogy because it's perfect. I personally don't have a problem with the wall. I'm also quite aware that it won't keep every illegal out. That's the difference between reduce and prevent.

Yes.

Here, we are not even all that shut down. We can go pretty much anywhere as long as we do the six-foot thing, wear a mask, and avoid crowds. Sure, a few things are closed...but not many. Most just have occupancy limits or whatever.

I can go out to eat, have a drink at a bar, go to the beach, go to any store I want, etc. The things I cannot do make a short list. Obviously, being at higher risk, I don't do much. But I can if I want.

Unemployment is what, 7 or 8%? That's certainly not ideal, but it's not the end of society either. It was higher in 2012 I think.

Wear a mask, wash your hands, distance when appropriate. Open up most businesses, anything that doesn't pack 50 people in a small area. I'm not sure why people think a total, prison-style lockdown with roving execution squads for violators is what anyone is asking for.

The Trumps have been wealthy since their grandpa.

Donald’s wealth has a precarious history full of lies and boasts (are you surprised?)

Trump was listed on the initial Forbes List of wealthy individuals in 1982 as having a share of his family's estimated $200 million net worth.[7] Former Forbes reporter Jonathan Greenberg said in 2018 that during the 1980s Trump had deceived him about his actual net worth and his share of the family assets in order to appear on the list. According to Greenberg,

"it took decades to unwind the elaborate farce Trump had enacted to project an image as one of the richest people in America. Nearly every assertion supporting that claim was untrue. Trump wasn't just poorer than he said he was. Over time, I have learned that he should not have been on the first three Forbes 400 lists at all. In our first-ever list, in 1982, we included him at $100 million, but Trump was actually worth roughly $5 million—a paltry sum by the standards of his super-monied peers—as a spate of government reports and books showed only much later."[15][16]

After several years on the Forbes List, Trump's financial losses in the 1980s caused him to be dropped from 1990 to 1995, and reportedly obliged him to borrow from his siblings' trusts in 1993;[7] in 2005, The New York Times referred to Trump's "verbal billions" in a skeptical article about Trump's self-reported wealth.[7] At the time, three individuals with direct knowledge of Trump's finances told reporter Timothy L. O'Brien that Trump's actual net worth was between $150 and $250 million, though Trump then publicly claimed a net worth of $5 to $6 billion.[7] Claiming libel, Trump sued the reporter (and his book publisher) for $5 billion, lost the case, and then lost again on appeal; Trump refused to turn over his unredacted tax returns despite his assertion they supported his case.[17]

In April 2011, amid speculation whether Trump would run as a candidate in the United States presidential election of 2012, Politico quoted unnamed sources close to him stating that, if Trump should decide to run for president, he would file "financial disclosure statements that [would] show his net worth [was] in excess of $7 billion with more than $250 million of cash, and very little debt".[18] Although Trump did not run as a candidate in the 2012 elections, his "professionally prepared" 2012 financial disclosure was published in his book, which claimed a $7 billion net worth.[19]

On June 16, 2015, just before announcing his candidacy for president of the United States, Trump released a one-page financial statement "from a big accounting firm—one of the most respected"[20]—stating a net worth of $8,737,540,000.[21] "I'm really rich," Trump said.[20] Forbes believed his claim of $9 billion was "a whopper", figuring it was actually $4.1 billion.[22] In June 2015, Business Insider published Trump's June 2014 financial statement, noting that $3.3 billion of that total is represented by "Real Estate Licensing Deals, Brand and Branded Developments", described by Business Insider as "basically [implying] that Trump values his character at $3.3 billion".[23] Forbes reduced its estimate of Trump's net worth by $125 million following Trump's controversial 2015 remarks about Mexican undocumented immigrants, which ended Trump's business contracts with NBCUniversal, Univision, Macy's, Serta, PVH Corporation, and Perfumania.[24]

In 2016, Forbes estimated Trump's net worth at $3.7 billion.[25][26] During the three years after Trump announced his presidential run in 2015, Forbes estimated his net worth declined 31% and his ranking fell 138 spots.[27] Discrepancies in estimates of various organizations is due in part to the uncertainty of appraised property values, as well as Trump's own assessment of the value of his personal brand.[25][28]

In its 2018 billionaires ranking, Forbes estimated Trump's net worth at $3.1 billion (766th in the world, 248th in the U.S.).[26] Bloomberg Billionaires Index listed Trump's net worth as $2.48 billion on May 31, 2018,[29] and Wealth-X listed it as at least $3.8 billion on July 16, 2018.[30]

In its 2019 billionaires ranking, Forbes estimated Trump's net worth at $3.1 billion (715th in the world, 259th in the U.S.) as of 5 March 2019.[26]

Try "midget peanut butter satin velvet French maid alligator". I'd bet that'd be interesting.

The publicity stunt Trump brought to the debate, that guy?

I mean - Donnie Jr's ex was posting all over the place about the family.
Just because someone says something scandalous, doesn't mean it is the gospel.

I had to try it.

It looks like there aren't many great matches for your search

Tip:#@Try using words that might appear on the page you’re looking for. For example, "cake recipes" instead of "how to make a cake."

Oh well, it was worth a try.

If I'm remembering right, there was also a shortage of masks in the beginning and the consensus was they should be reserved for medical personnel.

All I will say is that boomers, generation x, z, and millennials would have lost their minds at the restrictions during WW2.
