Upon further review 5+ of my last orders have this exact problem.. 30+ cards with massive scratches on the back - some one, some the triangle.

Siff Henderson, JK5 McGwire, DonC Mo, Beck Jeter... Only my Fucci Griffeys dont have them.

Has anyone else experienced this or am I just cursed?

I read Topps' site and it's about the condition of the card, not the case so there's no sense in wasting my time on the phone with them. I suspect this is why they started shipping every card past like 95 or whatever in a plastic baggy. Probably protects them during boxing?

Many of the new cards I got in from topps directly have a similar scratch on the back, the right side scratch is popular for some reason.

Agreed, things could definitely be worse. If most cards are like this so be it hardly anyone looks at the back, but if its 50/50 and becomes a thing down the line (no pun intended) when selling that is gonna suck

I'm more mad about being shorted 9 Efdot Ichiros from my 10-pack - Was planning on giving some to my brother and his gf who just got a Shiba puppy

That's worse than getting shorted 10 of your 10-pack, in that there was an actual delivery.

As someone who was shorted 10x JK5 Riveras in an order, I would suggest you capture all tracking data and take a photo of everything in that box as it came out of the box and the tracking on the outside.

When I got them on the phone, I pointed out that the tracking measured the box at 3.5 lbs or so lighter than it should have been and they were fast to get me the missing ten. Pretty sure I didn't have a shot at any gold with those but it's a 40k PR card anyway so big deal.

Hope this helps you rectify things. I've had four or five problems like this with Topps but, then again, my purchases with them have gotten astronomical with P2020 this year so I guess percentage-wise they're not that bad. What's bad is the access you have to their customer service -- that's a crime.

Unless these scratch patterns were seen on the Ultra Pro and BCW cases I'm thinking this is what you get by switching to a generic plastics maker.

To be honest I feel like he already did that. It seems his people aren’t as “cartoon-y” or have the big exaggerated noses anymore. I was really looking forward to his Clemente and I feel he went a little too tame on it compared to his others. I’m hoping his Rickey is more cartoon-ish so I can buy one. I still need to get his Thomas though, I do like that one.
