The e-mail included 20+ pictures of the whole unpacking process, so I guess they are trying to address the concerns about damage occurring during that process.
Could just be they are giving you a heads up that packaging them too tightly can result in damage.

A few additions id like to see on COMC:

The ability to sell complete sets
Being able to transfer store credit to UD Epack
Ability to grade cards thru PSA or BGS
If you opt to sell on EBay, all cards listed on Ebay not select ones
Get rid of the if you list a card at $50 or more its $.50 per card

Yes, that's exactly what it is, but the point is this is much more communication than they usually provide regarding damaged cards. Usually you get a tiny picture with a bunch of cards stacked up. This was 20+ pictures of the whole unboxing process, on the day they received the submission. Has anyone else received an e-mail like this, or is this a new process they are introducing?

I did once when a box was received damaged, but the last damaged card info I got was Wednesday and it was the way they have been doing it.

This is a regular process that our Customer Service Team handles when the team who opens packages immediately recognize issues. That particularly team is not looking at items on a card-by-card basis the way that our Sorting Team does, but they are on the lookout for things like smashed/jumbled cards not packed box-in-box, obvious shipping damage, holes in packages, etc etc, so that we can immediately relay to customers that their submissions arrived with issues.

The biggest thing I would want is to selectively adjust your offer availability. I’d accept offers on some cards but not others, auto accept offers on some cards, listen to 50% offers on some, 20%, etc. Ideally you could customize it enough to be able to set your auto accept up to reflect what you’d take for every card and then I wouldn’t have to go back and forth so much with certain buyers.

Over the years a lot of us here have posted lists of features/addition/suggestions to COMC. Some appear to be very helpful and should be easy to add.

A couple of years ago I talked to a customer service person and got the answerer about all the ideals we have listed. He stated that COMC does have a list (to do) which includes a lot of the stuff we have posted. I guest my features is real low on the list. Then the old I will bring it up at the Wednesday meeting statement.

Quick question: If I want a base UD hockey card with a "stock image" photo, is it an e-card or is there an actual physical card I'm buying?

Fix SRP

It will help with the over priced perception, it will make it more efficient and faster to price cards, it will facilitate port sales, it will show who has a seller mentality and who has a museum mentality

The answer does not have to be no, I’m just curious

Making SRP work is important - it would provide us with a better idea of price and would even be marketable as a price guide of sorts with historic sales values and current approximations of value.

When will they be lowering fees like they talked about last year?

What is their focus going forward?

As just a buyer I would love to see better ways to find cards that I need. For the last several years COMC has been my main site to get cards. As it is getting harder to find cards I need the more I look around at other sites.

It would be great if I could hide/ignore cards I have. Then I sort by a player and I only see cards that I have not hidden. Yesterday it toke 2 hours to buy 2 cards from thebrett. I'm sure he has more that I need. It would have helped me and him out a whole lot.

One of the ideas we talked about was a way to view only cards that are listed within the last week. For example if you search 1993 topps Derek Jeter instead of seeing 150 copies. You will only see the cards listed in the last week.
We have also talked about an alert system that you can put in a checklist of what you want. When the card pops up. You will be alerted.

About that topic: let's say somebody buy a card and after weeks or months he decided to sell that card. In that case, COMC doesn't detect that card as a Recently added, right?
It could be nice to mark it as Recently added in that case to find potential new buyers, but only if the owner of the card has changed to avoid the possibility to edit from not for sale to sale frequently to "bump" it.

How long after you sent cards back for a refund because of damage does it take to get the actual refund put in your account?

Typically like a day, maybe two, after they get the card back.
