You're talking about Chrome Sapphire boxes, right? If so, I've been really curious about these odds involved. Do you know what's being used to establish the 1 in 7 odds assumption by any chance? I've seen the results from 25 boxes, and there were only two base Acunas pulled. I know there will be variation across small samples of any boxes/cases of cards, but those results make me question the 1 in 3 odds that were quoted earlier as well. I don't think I saw many Ohtanis either.

The thought is that it was printed in the same quantities as the rest of the set. So it would be 1 in 7 boxes.

Now whether that is true, is hotly debated.

My Indy BGS 9.5 sold! I was hoping for more bids in the last 10 seconds but am happy that it sold for what I was looking for. I purchased it raw for $250 and will be getting $700 after eBay/PayPal fees. Going to sell one more gem mint Indy and keep one in my PC for free. It should also offset my total cost basis on other Acuna cards that I purchased recently.

Yep, I'm of the opinion that there are fewer of the Acuna and Torres but that's mainly because I haven't pulled either. Again, I've busted 11 boxes of Sapphire but am currently missing 102 cards to complete the set (one of the 7 standard boxes of 100 sequenced cards plus Acuna and Torres). Tough pulls. Did purchase an Acuna base but not counting that in my missing set.

I've also only seen 4 of the Red Acunas but I suspect 2-3 others have been pulled and the other 3-4 are stashed in unopened boxes. Regardless, the 4 out of 10 Reds having surfaced is what kept me going to the well over and over again purchasing new boxes. My best red pull is Cody Bellinger. Out of 11 boxes...

Did Acuna and Torres fall into the same run? For some reason, I was thinking they didn't, and the collation was consistent, right? If that's accurate...given that you're only missing one run of cards for your set, that could potentially support your opinion that at least one of those two players wasn't packed out normally.

We know 100% that Acuna and Torres were packed differently. The 7 x 100 runs came in the same order. Whereas the Acuna and Torres were randomly thrown in the box. The 285 print run was suspected based on 2000 boxes. But I think there was likely a few more than that.
