I honestly don't think *anyone* predicted anything close to the numbers we've been seeing.

Personally, I came into this hoping/expecting my PRs to be 200-2K.

I made a disclaimer when I made my first nightly recommendation that every card is a must buy at $14.50-$17.25 (presale) and we would never be able to get them for that price again lol. I got a Chang ichiro 10 pack and did say to pick them up lol.

Boy - sure wish I'd pulled the trigger on the Beck Gooden on Thursday when I was seriously considering it. I think I decided my limit on any one of these is $250 and it was going for $270 on ebay, so almost $300 with taxes... sigh.

Way overdue IMO. I expect her Gibson to join Rivera at that price point pretty soon.

Seems like Grotesk Jeter has a great shot at being the Jeter SP. Nothing against Oldmanalan, but even though a lot of people aren’t feeling his design I bet they chase that one being the Jeter SP and Grotesk ends up with a smaller number. I’m just holding on to mine for now.

Damn, just saw a Mattingly Jamieson I had marked as watching went for only $100 in an auction tonight. That was the going price a few days ago.

Today’s releases... really went the opposite of what I’d have expected. That Clemente is Oldmanalan’s best. If I were collecting one card of each artist, this is the Oldmanalan card I’d buy.

The Ichiro is a major disappointment. Like several have mentioned, not only is Saladeen making himself bigger than Ichiro on the card, it’s the first of his cards to forego the player’s nickname. No Ichi, no Wizard. To me, that’s an even bigger disappointment.

In the end, I’m skipping both. My massive 2020 Project collection will remain at 6 for now.

I've been highly critical of Oldmanalan but love this one.

It looks like it is from spring training. I’m not sure if it is a specific card. I wasn’t a fan of Gwynn and Rivera, but I like the Clemente and Koufax. I hope to other vintage cards are as nice.
