Heck you'll make more than your money back on the frame alone. Looks like those paintings start at like $500 to have made.

Definitely not a print. Yeah it's a pretty amazing piece, just goes to show you that even if an antique store is running an estate sale, they don't know everything. In this case art probably wasn't their specialty and so they just threw a price on it. It should sell well, but it's the kind of piece you have to be patient with. The historical aspect for me makes it awesome.

My first thought was high school or college. Cool piece, may be a tough market to move it though.

At Goodwill a few weeks ago I found a Riddell mini helmet, saw it was raiders and walked by, then immediately turned around, because it hit me that it may be autographed. Turned out it was Charles Woodson. Bought it for $5, sold it for $50.

Today at the same goodwill, saw a Riddell mini helmet, 49ers. Opened it up to see a Roger Craig auto. Noticed the other side had ink on it too, dual auto with Dwight Clark! Pretty awesome piece. Not sure of the value, but pretty neat to have both guys on the same helmet.

Hey guys. Love this thread. So I have shipped a few jerseys and T Shirts and realized I have been getting away with making things that are 15 or 16 ounces as 13. Never heard from PO or buyers. Done this 3 times I think, they were borderline but I have seem to got away with it. Anyone do this or try and get rejected? Thanks for your input!

I only do it if it is under 14 and the item is fairly cheap, that $2 difference is too much for a 1 oz change, so I mark it as 1st class 13oz.

Maybe done it like 3 times, never seen anything come back or contacted by the buyer.

As I seller I think it is irresponsible to send something out knowing you provided postage that is not adequate.

Bad idea. Buyer may end up paying "postage due" and then they would contact you with a negative.

Yep, for sure. Best way to avoid this is to weigh everything before you list it. If it is a sweatshirt then just charge $5.95 and ship in a flat rate padded envelope. A t-shirt should never be over 13 ounces.

Postage due, even if you compensate your buyer. Guaranteed neg. USPS will randomly weigh packages.

Got another question on what an item is - I picked up these jeans that are "Diesel" brand. They don't look like any other Diesel jeans I've ever seen and couldn't find anything online. They're pretty weird, they're lightweight and have these tan belt loops. I apologize in advance on the size of the pictures, and thank you for any information. I'm wondering if:

A - they're fake, and a bad fake at that
B - they're older jeans and the company used to have a different logo
C - they're some knock-off brand trying to trick idiots like me into thinking they're Diesel
D - (least likely) - they're real and rare!

Here are a few pictures:

Stopped by the Salvation Army today and picked up 4 Silver and Gold etchings. They have the COA on the back and are signed by the artist. Got them for $0.50 each and similar items from this artist have sold for $70+ on ebay.

Also got a Nike hat

What is the best way to remove the glue left behind from price stickers? Mostly dealing with books.

Spent $5 at the goodwill today. Got a Taylor made 4 iron I should get around $30 for and a first edition board game called rise n fly from 1984 that looks to be worth at least $20. Apparently it's an "African American Pop Culture Game". Lol.

Lighter fluid.. I buy the fluid they have by registers in walmart and squirt some on a qtip and rub it over the sticker and usually it takes it off cleanly sometimes I'll have to do it again on the residue

If they are books with dust jackets, you can use WD40 on a piece of cloth

Interesting, I will have to give it a try on some of the books that I keep for myself to practice on.

Hey everyone,
Been meaning to post in this thread for a while. Here's some recent pickups from the last couple weeks. Everything is available and some of it is already up on eBay. Hoping to get a little info on the drury jersey as far as the autographs authenticity and what being an on ice game jersey means. Also hoping to figure out what the rivera t shirt is. Thanks and happy thrifting!

Sorry if the formatting looks messed up, making this post via my iPhone and the photobucket app

Nice stuff man, especially that Tommy jacket! I would be interested in the Mo shirt if it is an XL.

Ok, second post today. Stopped at one thrift store not expecting to find anything and ended up dropping $50. They had hundreds of vintage sports pieces and had to force myself to walk out of there without a bunch of other stuff. Yomiyuri Giants jacket is not for sale but everything else is, I'd be quite happy to keep everything as well. Kentucky jersey I believe is signed by Tony Delk. Thanks
