I'll be honest man, I only read the 1st line of your last novel and haven't read this one.

I just don't care enough.

There's a whole wide world out there of people that don't even watch basketball, but they love buying the merch. I think I saw the 3 headed BKN guys in the top 10 in jersey sales. Great.

I think KD is a beast.
Harden is crazy good.
Kyrie has more X factor than anyone in the League.

I'll watch the Finals either way. Last years were trash. So I don't care who makes it. But I have bet the Lakers hard so if they win I get some nice $$$. If they lose I can laugh at PingBling cry.

It's because narratives sell.

KD plays as well as LeBron, his team wins = he destroyed LeBron
Jimmy plays as well as LeBron, his team loses = LeBron is the best, no one is close

KD flat out made LeBron look old in that 17 series. Let's be real. He embarassed him. Bron couldn't stop him on one play. Then that walk up 3 was the biggest moment in that series and Bron was behind the 3 pt line.

KD nailed it on his head.

17/18, well, that was the sweep right? Again, KD got what he wanted when he wanted. So did Steph.

That's 4 times Bron's direct opposing player got the Finals MVP. Yikes. Even though Iggy was a joke.

You'd think LeBron could at least go out and say that his opposing player isn't gonna get the best of him.

I said KD would have to beat LeBron again. I don't think he will, but it would make for a change of narrative for sure. Of course not with the LeBron fanaticals.

All I'm saying is that KD has a lot of big scalps to his name and that isn't even including his GS stint. But if you add that it's crazy.

Bron has losing records to all of the same guys.

Peace
i dont ever see anyone discredit mj for having a losing record against the celtics or pistons in the playoffs? i know why, because it doesnt matter.

Swap Curry, Draymond and Klay for Irving and Love (and whoever's the next best '17-18 Cavs player), and Bron's team wins.

Very happy they are 2-3 right now.... I think this squad only beats the bottom feeding teams tanking for a pick... and they just got 2 of them. It's better than getting stuck with a back to back against an average team trying to make a playoff run like Memphis or Dallas.

Okay let's go to wild hypotheticals that can't be proven.

LeBron has been destroyed in many a Finals with a loaded team so.....

Well they could have easily lost. But they didn't.

Good time for Bron to have off. They may have gone 2 and 3 anyway.

Norman Powell with the steal and stare down

Jokic with the nice dish to AG

AG returns the favor to MPJ for the 4 point play

Will be interesting to see how some of the recent moves play out.

You wanted to make some point about KD vs. Bron.

Fine, then. 2012 Finals.

I guess sarcasm is lost on you. Maybe you should actually read a post before quoting it.

Lol.

A 23 year old Durant had just beaten the Mavs that beat Bron, then the Lakers with Kobe, then the Spurs. Literally one of the toughest runs to the Finals of all time.

Edit: KD and OKC were kids.

At 23 LeBron beat Gilbert Arenas and the boys 4-2 and that's it..gulp..

Kd vs Bron in 2017 and 2018 also or nah?

I wasn't going to chime in, because we all have our opinions that won't change and it's a waste of time arguing. However, I'm very curious to hear from you how exactly did KD embarrassed Bron in 2017.

KD averaged in the series 35.2/8.2/5.4
Bron had 33.6/12.0/10.0

I guess because he made a walk up 30-ft three with 45 secs left in Game 3, he embarrassed him the entire series.

Bron was embarrassing. He had several other in-their-prime All-NBA players on his team to help with spacing and shoulder the load such as Kevin Love, JR Smith, George Hill and Tristan Thompson. Crazy that he lost to GSW with that starting five.

That was 2018 pal. At least get on the same Finals series as us.

At least that gave LeBron an easy out to another team.

Looks like Evan Fournier is a go tonight but no Jaylen Brown. Also Jeff Teague expected to sign with the Bucks.
