Two weeks to go! That .179/.281/.303 slash is a thing of legends.

PCA is everything Robert’s was supposed to be. He’s gotta go somewhere new and hopefully the new team can light a fire under him, he’s just been awful and gutless.

I'm digging a little deeper and saw that Jose Castro(from Cuba) became the hitting coach for the White Sox toward the end of 2022. Of course Luis Robert had an outstanding 2023 season with 38 Home Runs an All-Star nod, Silver Slugger and some MVP votes. Jose Castro was replaced for the 2024 season with Marcus Thames. Maybe something is literally lost in translation? Maybe Thames is fluent in Spanish but is clearly missing something, physical or mental with Luis Robert Jr. Heck, maybe Robert has a personal hitting coach and their styles are clashing? I dont know man, just trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

Yeah, 50 homeruns is definitely an illusion but getting to 17 steals without a relatively low on base total is hopeful in terms of health and physical status.

It’s the other way around, Robert needs to move on from the White Sox.

What’s with people getting so bent out of shape when they get reminded most of the hobby’s favorite young players suck?

But at the same time...you don't have any skin in the game anymore. You are a Monday morning QB at this time. So you can go into all the player threads and gloat about selling on top and being right. But you also then come into the Ohtani thread talking about how amazing he is which is fine because its true. The problem is again you don't have any skin the in the game, you sold all your Ohtani RC cards too. I feel like you always have to be right to make everyone else feel bad. Not sure whey this is so important to you. Everyone knows that Luis Robert is hobby dead. So those at this point that collect do it for fun...not to make money. Do you collect any current MLB players for fun or to make money at this point? Or do you just like being a Monday morning QB and crapping on everyone else that collects current players and loses money?

The problem isn’t over sensitivity it’s that no one likes you or your posts and you act like you’re the arbiter of the internet. You’re a pariah who thinks he’s an expert.

A person going to a Blackjack table and telling folks the odds are in the house's favor on every hand won't be popular either. It's not unsurprising that Debbie Downers aren't lauded everywhere they go. I saw an old Beckett letter yesterday that railed against people buying Greg Jeffries cards, that also mentioned this point. It's a well-known fact, and has been for decades, that no one really wants a reminder of.

I see an opening in the Dodgers lineup in the outfield. Conforto is doing just as terrible as Luis Robert but the defensive range is a huge upgrade. I actually believe Luis Robert has a higher average. They would probably shift him to CF as well. They'd also be buying low with his current batting.

They are being cautious with Edman and his ankle. Edman is also versatile. No reason not to go with depth and see what you have with Roberts Jr. for a championship run. The man is a Gold Glove CF and there is no doubt he's more dynamic than the other two.

The Dodger's Michael Conforto is hitting under Luis Robert Jr. current average, believe it or not. One is 32 years old and a 1x All-Star. The other a 27-year old 1x All-Star, Silver Slugger and Gold Glover at a premium position. The point being, he needs to be on a new team to see if there could be a resurgence in his performance. At this point, any team that cares about the playoffs should take a long look at him before the trade deadline. The White Sox keeping him would just be bad business, he's a FA next year.
