It's near 50% this year and if your argument is that being a DH is the reason why he's not an MVP candidate, then previous years are irrelevant. And the Harper point remains valid.

He clearly made the throw as Garcia was rounding third in the video. No need to argue that point when you're quite obviously wrong.

He can be more than one thing.

This is where I'll leave it.

Enjoy.
Just ignore his trolling.
Sad that people have nothing better to do than troll player threads all day. Better to just block him.

Guys it’s ok that someone doesn’t agree with your opinions & takes on a player. Don’t be so offended.

Here are a few of my Yordan Alvarez cards. I have been a collector of Yordan since the beginning of last year.

He is having a season that a Trout would be nominated as a MVP. Definitely ahead of all but Judge and that may change.

Really nice centering! Hard to find with those...

So I'm curious, do you collect Soto's that are serial numbered 44/XXX ? That would take serial number-focused collecting to a whole 'nother level.

Some people collect Michael Jordan 23/xx. There there is one of our own on BO that does 247/xxx

Not yet! But I will. I just love different ways to tie my player collections together.

Here's 1 example that's my favorite. Getting a Sterling Super of each.

Can't really do much better than that.

I feel like I should know the significance of 247, unless it's just for 24/7...

I believe its that serial number but if anything, 420 would be ideal.

But yeah, always nice to see the bump after the game starts.

That HR was 113 MPH and 18 degree launch angle. Took 3 seconds to exit.

Watching the White Sox game and Steve Stone comments "I was watching the game and Alvarez hit yet another homerun, that guy is a monster" in response to the game score being given. Yordan really is becoming THE talk of baseball.

He's played just about as many games as a LF this year as he has as the DH.

And plenty of other sluggers also have only two of the five tools.....hasn't seemed to negatively affect their card values....

Pathetic
Up 6-3 in the bottom of the 9th and not even close

Pressly is trash. He’s never been a real closer and I don’t understand why Houston can’t find a real stopper who can handle the 9th inning. Harris never was and Hinch used him too often and it cost them a WS in 2019. Baker seems to like Pressly and I don’t know why. He has good stuff, but he doesn’t have the mentality to close the door.
Oh well, Yordan did well lol
