A person absolutely would be confronted here. 100%

Employees, most of the time security guards, are stationed at entrances to grocery stores and whatnot. No mask, no entry. Larger stores, like Home Depot or Walmart, have been enforcing occupancy limits as well. They stand there with a little clicker counting people going in and out. At times, there will be a line waiting for their turn to go inside.

The post office nearest me allows only 5 people at a time inside. Everyone else waits outside in a line, wearing masks. Thank goodness for usps pickups, lol.

Social distancing is also enforced, albeit moreso by the people themselves. Stand too close to someone here and you'll likely be asked to back away.

Truly, I was surprised that so many in this thread seemed to be unaware of Qanon at the onset of this thread. In a way, that was troubling simply because the influence of Qanon theories spread throughout the right-wing landscape.

The notion that Q was a threat was seemingly mocked here, but it's different than standard misinformation. Misinformation as a whole isn't viewed as a threat, however the FBI most certainly views Qanon as a continued and still growing threat.

It's a weird, deep rabbit hole...and we now have candidates supporting/pushing this garbage.

Trump claimed on Thursday to not know about Qanon, which is an insane defense. He's either completely uninformed or completely lying.

We have no accountability. We can’t have it both ways. We can’t eat like pigs, be physically lazy then act shocked when something like Covid hits. I’m pretty sure many people being affected are more susceptible because of poor life choices giving them preexisting conditions.

It doesn’t make losing people any less sad but many of these deaths are preventable. Hopefully it’s a wake up call but it’s hard to break old habits especially when we’re too busy blaming everyone/everything else but ourselves. (Obviously none of what I said applies to people born with issues).
