Turnaround times at SGC and just fantastic. 7 business days they had my cards before they are examined, graded, assembled and shipped back.
(In related news, PSA took over three weeks just to enter my cards into the "Research & ID" stage after receiving them.)

Cards arrived from SGC today, and it had three of the 1997 Leaf Auto cards I needed to complete the 16 card set.

Here's the complete set of the autographed cards from this set that I can now hang on my wall:

The display case I use is one I found from a company on Etsy:

They are not cheap, but they are fantastic. I have two of them, both for SGC slabs, but they make them for PSA and one touches, etc. and you can easily swap out cards anytime by removing the back.

I have one for an 18 card configuration, and one for a 12 card configuration. I went with the black background and added UV protection.

I currently have some 1971 Topps NBA cards on display for my 18-card frame:



But in the past I swapped this out with my Rickey rookie run:



I'm a big fan of displaying the cards like artwork, and this frame is great.

I would definitely use SGC more, but the price is just not right. CGC is $8 for me and half the price. I do have some oddball type cards I want slabbed with SGC, but waiting for a special or prices to drop. Have a stack that I will only grade with SGC. I am patient, so they might spend years in a Card Saver.

This was the fastest turn around I have had with SGC and it was the Topps Chrome Special. Was very surprised on the grades with a one of the 13 not so much.

For the Topps Chrome Promotion going on - I have a submission that includes both Topps Chrome and non-Topps Chrome cards; Do I need to do two different submissions and pay shipping twice? Or should I submit all together and hope they refund the difference?

Anyone have experience with this?

There is two separate options or buttons to click on when starting the order for each special. Complete each order on its own and put them together when shipping. SGC has been good with keeping them combined and sending them back together with one shipping cost.

I just submitted through Boca Card Subs and just sent cards all together. That said, I think they separate and they did go into separate orders.

Sent: 10-7-24
Received: 10-14-24 (they were closed for two days for the hurricane)
Graded: 10-21-24
Shipped back: 10-22-24

Had another great order with SGC. These cards are mostly for my PC, or an attempt to upgrade from current PC cards I have. All vintage or cards that look vintage.

I had one card in particular that I hit a home run with, Vida Blue / Gene Tenace rookie card:

I was hoping for an SGC 8 with this card, and wow, I got an SGC 9.
Turns out there are no PSA 10s or SGC 10s of this card, and only 20 PSA 9s in total.

This is a POP 2 none higher:



Some other fun cards from my order for my PC are these:













Love these vintage and "vintage looking' cards in the SGC tux.

Thats an awesome grade. I sent in an order on the 5th and got it back on the 21st. The turn around times for the last 3 orders have been about plus or minus a day on the same turn around. I was really happy with the grades I got and will be doing another in December.
