Found a shop that has loose blaster packs for $7 ea. Is there any logical reason for opening the blasters and selling like that? Searched?

I wouldn't think? In the 4 blasters I opened only 2 packs per box had chrome cards, so I guess you could probably pretty easily pick those packs out. I can't imagine it's worth the trouble though and would just hope an LCS wouldn't stoop to that level of d-baggery in the first place, but seen crazier things lately I suppose.

Maybe a dumb question here, but it seems the singles are so cheap now on eBay.....so why are people still hoarding this product? I don't see the allure of paying $45 for a hanger pack, especially when it seems getting a parallel or numbered card out of retail are fairly slim. It's not like Prizm or Optic where the Zion, Ja's, etc are still pricey...

Quantity over quality. Your not pulling double digit Zion and Ja’s out of any other product. If you think prices are a fluke, look back at 2018-19....

personally I'm scooping up both. paper Zions in bulk around $6-8 nowadays, I was doing the same thing with Hoops and Donruss back at $5-8 and look where graded of those are now... we're not buying to flip immediately while supply is high, we're as you said, hoarding to grade and sell down the road when supply is low. price patterns are the same for every single product... even Prizm I sold one of the very first base Zions for $100, bought back in for a handful when they dropped into the $30s, and well they're poopy right now but will be fine once people start focusing on next season

Crazy to me that there are people who sat and watched every single product this year rise regardless of opinion on quality... and those same people think this won’t rise when donruss and hoops are over $100 for a blaster.

While the print run of Chronicles is scary, there is nothing at all keeping every decent Zion paper base card from eventually being a $30+ card.

I'm hopeful but don't see these getting back up to the prices these were hitting the first week of release anytime soon. Crazy that blasters were $110 and megas $300 only 2 weeks ago.

Got 22 loose fat packs in today and hit a few nice cards
4 zion luminance
3 zion crusade
1 Ja crusade

And in the last two packs
1 Rui Phoenix Bronze
1 Bronze Kevin Durant Prizm

I don’t see why not. I think blaster prices will be close to that and Megas over that number as soon as it’s clear they’re gone from shelves.

Those 2 guys are poised to be stars in the future and have just been overshadowed by the Morant and Zion hype this year.

last years phoenix looks so much better and doesnt have the whole marcus smart acne surface thing going.

look at 17 football phoenix and imagine how good a 2017-18 chronicles phoenix would have been good lawd

I don’t have a lot of love for Barrett, but I did just spend the last hour perusing eBay for Clarke Phoenix and Crusade’s.

I’m actually surprised Herro’s stuff has been so cheap since he is actually playing well in the playoffs, I think the Miami/Indiana didn’t have a lot of eyes on the series so maybe that will change with the next round.

I'm a bit biased about Barrett since I'm Canadian. Lol

But once New York gets a decent coach and another star calibre player, I think Barrett will explode. Might take 3-5 years though.
