Congrats on putting that together. Probably a $4K auto set right now and you're one of only a maximum of 85 who can do it.

For me, I think I mentioned before that one of 5 cases did not have an SP /85 in it. As far as my 1/1 case, it was fantastic. For pulling arguably one of the two biggest cards of the entire product in the 1/1 Ralphie, it also had a 1/1 plate, a 1/1 plate auto and a Scut Farkus SP /85.

I’m also still very surprised we have yet to see one blue ink auto /5 and with cases being either hard to find or ridiculously priced, I don’t see much more of this being opened anytime soon.

Probably not a better case out there than that one.

Also strange we haven’t seen another signed printing plate…

0 #/5 inscriptions out of 100
1 signed plate out of 92
2 Flick SP's out of 85
about 5 Schwartz SP's out of 85
3 or 4 Randy SP's out of 85

And there wasn't that many cases made of this either. Going by the odds of pulling #/25 parallels it's 424. But at any rate it's less than 500. So there's either a lot of collectors not advertising online what they pulled, or Dave & Adam's are indeed sitting on a whole bunch of this and the later cases are loaded with many of the good cards. Or a combination of the two. I'd like to know if the two Flick SP's that were listed on eBay came from recently purchased D&A boxes.

Cracked a random box from eBay expecting to get elf’s but instead pulled a nice billingsly base auto. Box had a 1/25 ornament showing the fragile crate and an average sketch.

Opened my second box of this. Got another Ralphie sketch and ended up with an elf auto, but it’s the /199 version. Not bad. The sketch is by Koko Alters. I’m missing one card. I’m missing card 32 from the base set. 4, 6, and 9 from the puzzle, 1 and 3 from the quotes, and 1,2, and 6 from the ornaments. Anyone have extras available? Thanks!

Although I still have a sealed case put away, I decided to try a couple boxes from DA. I had some credit sitting there so I put it towards 2 boxes. Pulled 3 nice parallels of key scenes, 2 toilet sketches but luckily hit 2 kid autos. Scut Farkus & another Peter Billingsley. Nice low number on the Ralphie as well. I tried but still no blue inscription to report gentlemen.

I would like to pick up some more to open as well, in hopes of find one of the blues! I am wanting to see some more 1/1 autos in the least to know what the inscriptions say.

I think it’s pretty awesome that Cryptozoic randomly inserted Bunny Ralphie Ornament parallels into the binders. However they do need to use some sort of security seal going forward. I’m sure there are scumbug sellers that have peeked inside. I’m still unable to find a parallel at a reasonable price. What a great release this was. Imagine what prices will be next Christmas overall!?!

SP auto prices by then should be interesting to see, but most will likely be in collections by then. Same for 1/1 and blue autos if we ever see them.

Yeah, I noticed my binder was not “sealed” to where you couldn’t open them and look first.

I wonder if anyone is going after the master sketch set - one from each artist. Don't know if he/she would admit to it anyway as it would only drive the prices of sketches they need. A master set is very subjective with this. Is it just the promos & binder, base set, 3 insert sets, and the 23 autographs? Or do you need a single red ink 1/1 also? And a blue ink #/5, printing plate, printing plate auto, brilliance 1/1, parallels #/40 and #/25, etc. I'm collecting these myself and I'm not sure how deep/crazy I want to go. Usually I'm an autograph card collector only but this set has inspired me.

Technically the master set would be just the 23 autos, 3 inserts, base set & maybe the binder. I personally wouldn’t put the autographs in 9 pocket holders unless they were side loading. To add the Brilliance 1/1, plate auto, red ink & blue ink autograph would be the loco master set. I’m going for the #/85 SP set, Brilliance 1/1 of a key scene, red ink & blue ink for my personal set. But currently I see the blue ink going for 1k+ when the surface.

I think on the sketches you could also build a set off of all the different scenes, and some may want to collect one from each artist…probably quite a few artists versus different scenes?

A master master set would be incredibly difficult with all the 1/1s, but some may consider it good with just getting one 1/1 whether auto or brilliance.

Also trying to collect printing plates with all four colors to each card?

So many ways to collect this great set!

I could see that for the blue autos selling at least at that price point, unless they run as auction, will be interesting to see if they ever surface.

I've seen 3 more 1/1 Brilliance parallels the last few days. Around 20 of the 99 that exist have turned up online.....and still none of the 100 #/5 inscriptions.

Spoke with my distributor about the blue /5 autos and this was the reply:

As for the Blue autos, Crypto did in fact call the printer to make sure they were packed out, and they told them that they were indeed. It is very odd that none have been pulled yet. Hopefully they start showing up soon.

At least there is some info on that topic, seems like they are packed out in the last half of the product like others have been thinking/saying.
