I voted for Baba before even thinking about other choices. For me first is magic bus then squeeze box then Baba.

Really tough call between "Quadrophenia" and "Eminence Front" for me.

Lmao, apparently I already voted and posted in this thread before.

Sorry I just can not pick one. Saw Roger Daltrey with Eric Clapton a couple years back and Townsend's brother was playing guitar, even with that they came out played a great show and had the crowd pumped up and then Clapton came out and put the crowd to sleep. Swear to God! It was horrible. Paid $520 to sit 2nd row center stage and was so disappointed in Clapton's show. Needless to say "The Who" came around back around with Pete and I bought tickets quickly! If you have the chance go see a show!

Tough call but I would put Eminence Front first. Baba O'Reilly, Pinball Wizard, and Athena are favorites of mine as well.

Spent some time on YouTube today and enjoyed this live version of Pinball Wizard from the album Tommy.

I'm not old or anything, but I saw The Who in concert in Madison WI in 1968. It was a great performance and if I remember correctly, they opened for The Lovin' Spoonful.

The live orchestral version of Baba O'Riley by the London Chamber Orchestra at Pete Townshend's live at Sadlers Wells 2000 show. I play that in my car weekly for about the last 15 years since I became aware of it, and it STILL hasn't gotten old. I'm not a Who diehard fan, but that may be my favorite single piece of music, in my life.

Glad this came back up, huge Who fan!

I would go with other.......

A Quick One (While He's Away)
The version played this on the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. Supposedly, after the Who went on, no one wanted to follow including the Stones. If you have seen it check it out...., builds, they quiets down, then builds again!

If any of you are interested, Rick Beato on YouTube recently interviewed Glyn Johns, engineer, mixer and co-producer of Who's Next (and other Who albums) and it's a fascinating listen.

If you reply with...."last one on eBay sold for this"...then you should have bought it on eBay.

Gotta be the ending of A Quick One from Live at Leeds. Also a great scene in the movie Rushmore.

I went to go see The Who on their "Farewell Tour" in Dec 1982.
My uncle was a tour bus driver but wasn't on this tour.
His friend was and was supposed to leave us tickets at Will Call.

I drove from Boston to Worcester and met my cousins and there were no tickets.

Called their father who couldn't get in touch with his friend so we didn;t see the concert but did hear 3 or 4 songs from outside.

I saw them on the same tour in the Astrodome on December 03 of 1982!

My ticket was $17.50.

I bought a shirt. One of those where the sleeves go halfway down your arms.

So cool

Venue shirts were always expensive. Probably cost you the price of the ticket. The bootleg shirts were like $5 and were horrible.
And here we are 43 years later and they are still touring.
