For someone who believes MSU doesn't matter, that's all you seem to talk and think about.

Go for it, and just admit you are completely obsessed with MSU.

"THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT “UNVERIFIED VORACITY.” Last week, Ohio State signed a record college apparel contract with Nike to the tune of $252 million over 15 years.
Not long after, That Hippie Up North popped his head out of his hole to dispute the real value of Ohio State's deal and insist that Michigan's 11-year, $122.32 million contract (with an option to extend to a 15-year, $169 million deal) was more valuable: • Both schools have a 15-year deal; Michigan has an opt-out after 11. • Michigan gets 12 million upfront; OSU gets 20. • OSU gets 3.44 million for the first 11 years and 4.44 for the last four. • M gets 4.82 million for the first ten years, 5.32 in 11, and 5.82 for the last four. • Total dough: Michigan, 88.8 million. Ohio State, 75.6 million. OSU gets more upfront but inflation isn't sufficient to make up the deficit, especially since Michigan has an opt-out four years earlier. So OSU's "biggest ever contract" actually delivers 13 million fewer dollars than Michigan's. But OSU gets more Nike volleyballs so they've got that going for them. This is true—if you ignore the other elements of Ohio State's contract, which includes scholarship money, internships, and most importantly, $41 million to be used outside of athletics. It takes a special kind of hubris to look at $75.6 million in cash and $94.5 million in apparel money and conclude that those come to $252 million, but that's the mind that reduces equipment and gear for 36 varsity sports to “more Nike volleyballs,” too. I'm not angry, nor am I being defensive. I just think it's weird how you obsess about a school you say is irrelevant.

Man, I thought this was the Big Ten 2016 thread, not the MSU/Michigan Argue-Fest 2016 thread

Former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr is a new member of the College football playoff committee.
Clemson's Deshaun Watson is a 9-to-2 favorite to win the 2016 Heisman Trophy. Ohio State's J.T. Barrett isn't far behind at 10 to 1 |

As is every Big Ten thread except when O$U does something meaningful. I'm not even sure the rest of us are a minority on the board, but we're certainly not as vocal. Mostly because the blowhards deem factoids about our schools meaningless as our programs are "irrelevant" in their eyes. There are several Hoosiers, Badgers, Terrapins, etc around here in addition to your Gophers, but we can't be heard over the yelling of those that wish to bellow out their dominance.

Im not even 100% confident on it honestly. If Leidner is still under the helm, I am not confident in us winning any game. If Seth Green starts as a true freshman, I think he will take the Big Ten by storm. Strong arm, accurate, and can get out of the pocket and gain big yards. Pair him with Shannon Brooks and Rodney Smith in the backfield and it could be a deadly option offense. Sad thing is, I do not think the coaching staff for the Gophers will grow a pair and realize that they have better back up QB's then Leidner.

Hopefully Urban will be able to turn all these great recruiting classes into some more offensive playmakers this year. Got a lot to replace, but he's never failed to put together a monster recruiting class in his time here. Plus they've made some very positive changes to the coaching staff, so there are plenty of reasons to be excited for Ohio State Football in 2016.

Buckeyes need to pick up Rashard Lawrence today. That would be huge. I think he is announcing at 10:30. It's either us or LSU but of course it's not easy to get a kid to leave Louisiana. 247 sports has him as the #23 player in the Country.
If there is one spot that concerns me on the team it is at DT - he'd be a huge pickup for what we need
