I really wish they would put out SOME info. Even if its just a handful of new cast signers I would be pleased to know something. I have 10 cases of this and 10 cases of TEK coming. Im getting a bit nervous.

Doesn't look like getting any info. I asked on face book and this was official response I got from topps. -- Hi Theodore, just like at 9/4, we are under very strict communications embargo related to the TFA Series 1 set and cannot release any more info until the movie release date of 12/18.--

I was cut from 10 cases to 3 cases...so there is going to be a massive shortage.

There are no autos in Series 1 right? Just series 2? It looks like Series 1 is just a few parallels and mostly new images. Series 2 is going to be the big one correct?

That's the "special" edition that is cheaper and doesn't have any hits. There is also the regular edition that has the hits:

I was told awhile back that orders will be cut because Topps decided to make hobby light boxes and auto issues.

looking less likely the more I hear about cancellations, it seems trying to push 2 products at once is coming to bite them and us in the butt.

My Dist just let me know that I was cut from 3 cases to 6 boxes. Best of luck to anyone that has already prepaid and has money tied up in these right before Christmas. This could have been such a big year for Topps but they seem to fail at every attempt!

I really don't mind being cut if its because of auto issues. Id rather save funds for the better release. I have 5 cases ordered but waiting to see my order cut too, but I haven't paid yet. was going to pay on Monday.

This might make tek a better product, who knows.

My guy I buy from says orders where cut 75 percent.

The product just got a lot worse or a lot better. Really depends on who's autos they didn't get.

Ya but regardless not lot of money will be lost. I think it will sell decent regardless of autos as long has all new stuff from the movie photo wise and decent sketches. Especially at this deep of a cut.

People will always want a hit of some sort.

I strongly disagree here. Sketches are sketches and without going into the "flooded sketch market topic" again, they just are not selling well. People are buying for new autographs and new signers right? If 70% of production (Allegedly) is cut, that means most, if not all new signers were unobtainable. Topps is sitting on a grundle of "Original Series" autograph stickers, some of which we know are in the new movie, this may represent a majority of the autograph signers we see in this product...

Topps' handling of releases this year reminds me of myself in college. I did no work all semester and pooped out a garbage paper the night before, hoping the next morning no one would notice and I would live to fight another day..

saying 65% cut.... was cut from 36 to 13 boxes...

This #@#@#@#@ better be loaded

My tek order was not cut

Dynasty baseball which comes out same day was cut also.. Not a lot but if you ordered it you should check

Yes people that bought on ebay etc... are going to get screwed....

Also at this point not sure how blowout can even be preselling it with such a huge cut

Looks like BO has stopped the Presales on hobby product.

100% agree that most if not all eBay presells will be screwed.

Guess we will see. Ive been wrong many times, but I think just the allure of new photos and new character cards even if not signed, and the excitement of the movies will still make this sell, especially considering its going to extremely limited hobby wise.

But you could be right on and the set doesn't do anything regardless of the print run.

With a 65% cut... I'm guessing 600 cases?

With all new characters...

Have to believe this will do well?

This is how many cases should be made... sucks getting cut.. But they were making way to much

Honestly I have no idea either. But from my standpoint, Yes production is lower for Hobby and the images will be new, but base and medallions are available at Walmart, Target and other Retail Locations

People can pick up cheap blasters and packs there.

Obviously, the selling point for hobby will depend on "Hobby-Only" exclusives which just took a major shot to the nads if they indeed, did lose most of the new signers. I find myself asking how much content did artists really have to go on when they started drawing sketches for this products? A few movie previews? Are most of these sketches going to be the same movie previews scenes and character profiles?

I guess this really leaves us with parallels, and the Stormtrooper Relics, which actually sounds really cool, but I guess we will see..In short, I was under the impression that most here were looking forward to the new actor-autographed cards, and that who they got to sign would make or break this product.
