We have a 3 year old 140lb italian mastiff (cane corso) named Tito...and a 15 year old 7lb miniature dachshund named chilli. The mini dachshund owns the mastiff too

Hope everyone hugged their pups today for national dog day! Firm believer that it is no coincidence that peace day and dog day happen to be the same day

This is the Burrito Bandit - a.k.a. Riley Dogg

We adopted him when he was about one year old from a local shelter - he is a Black Lab mix. The staff at the shelter had nicknamed him Happy and he is definitely a happy dog. Other than the occasional jail break from the back yard (he learned how to open a fence latch, so now it's padlocked) he is one of the best animals I've ever met. He is turning 12 this year and starting to slow down quite a bit - though he does his best to keep up with my two kids.

I have no clue how to post pics from my iPad to here, but if you want to see any pics of my two German Shepherds check out my Instagram, shepsspot33. They are brothers and their names are Samson and Mavrick.

My shih tzu named Sullivan. He's four and loves apples. I work from home so this lucky guy hardly ever is alone.

Check Target, that's where we got ours from. They've had it, or some variation of it every year and perhaps there's one small enough! They put the pet costumes in with the regular ones

Thanks for the tip.

In other news, a google search lead me to this page:
Humorous Dog Costumes That Look Like Things are Riding on Its Back

I kinda want to find the orc rider instead now although it doesn't exactly fit with the breed.

I love these threads! I'll share my huskies...

Keisha

Sophie

Chi

Annie (the eldest) with Chi when she was just a lil pup

It's tough to take good pictures of them altogether because they can be quite rowdy, but this is the entire gang

This was my sister's dog Buster who passed not all that long ago. He didn't just love to play ball, he obsessed over it.

death2redemptions: I accidentally let my in-laws' husky out and had to chase him down in the middle of winter. Those are fast and cunning dogs.

That's funny because the same thing happened to me. In fact two of them went running out the door and ventured the neighborhood. Luckily some strangers were able to grab them after about 45 minutes of chasing them.
