Looks like they actually added the Tanforan mall one to the closing list:

This makes a bit more sense now. The CEO, Ryan Cohen, wants a 35 billion dollar payout. So, of course he needs to shutter stores and get rid of employees to be able to afford to pay himself that much.

They closed 590 stores already in 2025 and are closing or have closed another 430 this year. They had a total of 2,325 stores at the start of last year: https://www.theverge.com/news/860329...s-in-42-states

That's almost half of stores being closed.

I'm sure they'll pull some BS pump and dump stock manipulation out of their ass at some point this year. We've seen it before

I wonder how much of a share of PSA's grading submissions last year were from these stores that have closed or will be closing. Is it none, which is partly why they are closing -- they weren't part of GameStop's plans going forward?

They have three of my orders. I received an email that it was closing (about 3-4 days later) and they would be redirected to my next closest when done.

Ouch! This would scare the mess out of me.

It did, but the email about them redirecting my orders was slightly relieving, so we shall see.. As long as that store doesn't close in the next 2 months or so, I think I'll be good.
