The Jays are in for an uphill climb against the Dodgers, but considering this entire season has been an uphill climb for the Jays, they'll give the Dodgers a serious run. Jays in 6.

Dodgers in 5 is my guess. If Snell and Glasnow both give solid six innings again, this series will be an easy road for the Dodgers.

Wow, they're going 5pm weekday start in LA. No one is going to be able to get to the stadium for the start unless you completely skip out on work (or they let the homeless in to fill the seats). I thought they were going to screw the east coast on these games and start them at 9 or 10pm. Hooray for east coast bias!

Has there been an upset in the ws in recent history when the team that won had worse pitching? The dodgers starters are clearly superior on paper. I think normally its the underdog that pitches better in upsets.

There are probably other exceptions but one that comes to mind is the 1960 World Series, in which the Pirates (whom I have to assume were the underdogs) beat the Yankees despite being massive outscored.

As for underdogs with inferior pitching staff, I am pretty sure the 2021 Braves were worse on paper than the Astros.

Yessir, that's Ohtani and Kendrick Lamar, who word has it will do the pre-game rap in Game 3, when the teams return to Dodger Stadium.

Hopefully, the Blue Jays have learned from what happened last year when the Yankees tried to counter Ice Cube with Fat Joe (only to have the disaster it was continue in the game), and therefore resist the urge to have Drake perform on Toronto's behalf at any point in the series.
